  2. Where did you find the black soft sleeves at $29?
  3. If you get them in Singapore, Simlim sells them for 16 a pair, EnE(shure distributor) sells them for 20 a pair. so it's actually cheap. =)
  4. Hey. Anyone interested to get Shure soft flex sleeves for $10 a pair? PLeas eindicate name, size and qty (no. of pairs) below..
  5. anyone has experiences with these IEMs before? how do they compare against each other? I'm thinking of getting a pair of E5s but i've heard quite good stuff about the Westone models as well. anyone can help me on this?
  6. Has anyone modded their Shure E1c cable before to include that short length of wire (just like the Shure E5c) so as to keep the cable behind your ears and not threatening to fall off all the time? Please share 1. how you did it (the steps you took) 2. where did you get all the materials needed many thanks!! i'm looking forward to having my wire stay behind my ears!! haha. =)
  7. i tried using the transparent silicon sleeves that came originally with the e1 package but they kinda hurt my ear after a long while. that's why i'm like checking out the black soft flex sleeves before i buy them..=) anyone has like extras to sell?
  8. hmm...i was thinking about getting a pair to try out cuz the foamies are like kinda troublesome to reinsert everytime i take them out..
  9. 1. how do the e3's silicon earbuds (the black ones that come default with it) compare against the foamies? 2. do they isolate enough for you to hear clearly without ambient noise? are they comfortable? 3. can they fit the E1? 4. where can i get them and how much? =)
  10. where can i make custom earmolds for my e1c? anyone knows shops and their telephone numbers?
  11. do try wailian electronics at simlim. think they might have 1 or 2 pieces of e1cs left. =) got mine from there
  12. try out the shure e1cs. =) i have those and they are really good. you can do whatever you want with those on and you won't hear a single scratchy sound due to microphonics. =) don't get the e2cs. their microphonics effect is rather bad. haven't tried the e5cs and the e3cs so no comments on those. =) i love my e1cs..look retro too..hahah..braided cable.
  13. just got one and wow! the sound is so different compared to the E2c..and the braided design does reduce microphonics tremendously..i virtually can't hear my fingers scratching the wire (i did it intentionally to test it out!)
  14. I have a pair of Shure E2 earphones for sale. 1. Condition is top notch. Always kept in the supplied case after use. 2. The original box, manuals, warranty card, extra foam/silicone sleeves, ear wax guards, storage case, receipts etc. are all intact and will be included at the point of sale. (I've used the large foam sleeves but have washed them clean and sterilised them with alcohol). 3. Warranty is still valid till 27 August 2004. 4. Reason for selling: Got myself a pair of Shure E1cs which I prefer to the Shure E2. 5. Price: $120 6. Please SMS me at 91083866 to deal. Good places to deal would be town, Jurong East MRT.
