Hu SHure owner who use triple flanges tips.. do you all encounter the white silicon tips started to melt.. as it started to get greasy after sometime by itself... The "oil" from one of the tips clog one of my E5C filters resulting in a lower volume in that driver... May i know.. 1) where to get the replacement filter (Shure E5C)?? 2) Can i use Etymotic Er4 green filter on shure E5C?? anyone tried before? 3) ANyone took out the shure filter to clean before? and successfully manage to clean it?? I have taken out the filter using etymotic filter removal tools and soak the filter in soap water... will reinstall back after drying it...hopefully can work..

ANy one got cyric's contact?? or know whether he is still working inside cause his last active oct last year... My E5C left driver is dead need to RMA

Finally i got myself a Nikon D40 kit + Sigma 18-200MM OS HSM lens..

HI guys i am thinking of getting my first DSLR.. not very good in photography.. which one should i get?? Nikon D40X or Canon 400D... i am more incline towards Nikon due to a more punchy image quality... i have been using Fujifilm , sony and canon Pn S.. and frankly speaking Canon image quality did not satisfy me.. i like fujifilm my first digicam because of its close to live colors... Is Nikon color close to live? Any advice for me noob thanks

I own a pair of E5C.. why?

It started with ppl just take the free paper and F*** off... but there were A55 holes who took a piles of it and cause disputes.. and thus to be fair that everyone get a copy they stationed one fellow to give out the papers... Typical kiasiu singaporeans.. Since then unless there is no Q.. i wun bother to get the it

MDB does not carry Alessandro.. 1yr warranty is given fro all the above mention shops and you would need to check with the shop you going to purchase.. most likely they would help you to sent back to US for repair.. there isnt a Grado service center in singapore. Not heard of it b4

SQ is sound quality... jaben is at #04-16 The Adelphi... you can also audit at MDB in the same building too, they sell full range of grados too..

All grados and Alessandro are easy to drive phone.. as i do not know how the palm sound like etc.. it would be best you go down Stereo or Jaben to try the phones out.. both are nice place to audit. Always remember garbage in garbage out.. That is to mean sources are very important too... a lousy source with a good amp might only show the potential of a mid range cans and a high end can might sound no better. And wherther to get an amp later is another problem..you might not able to hear any differences for easy to drive phones(low ohms) then high ohms phones... i would said start them slow dependant on yr budget and slowly learn to listen and apprieciate good music along the way.. From my experience the MS1 is better in SQ then the SR60 and SR80 using a normal mp3 player.. Yea bring down yr source for the audition.. and take note both grados and alessandro are not "outdoor" phones

Since you are using yr palm to listen, it would be better you get an easier to drive phones.. Grado are good choice... The Alessandro are more suitable for a wider genres of music and perhaps the MS1 would be yr first can
