Digi, will it improve the sound if you add the transistor output

i don't think so.those output transistor pair is enough(4 pair each bridge).

 

for improve the sound,should make a better power supply

i have make three zen amp,this one is the best!

P.S.

the cap near the K(switching) is 0.33uf too.ERO 63V.

I thought that gilmore sounds bright, but i was wrong, it sounds dark and laid back, but with fast and punchy bass, bring rock music to another level... i think i will say bye bye to tube..

here is an old photo,70% completed.when the poti is arrived,I will finished it and show the all connections.

i think you can make another sub card to arrange the analog parts.and insert the sub card to the other pci dock.

then the Emu 0404 card can small modify.the two cards connect by strip cable.

i trying to ask whether he needs balanced input to produce balanced output.

the amp is unbalanced input,

产生两组输出- 后面板的桥接平衡输出,和前面板的标准非平衡(和通常的耳放一样的)立体声输出.

后面的平衡输出具有优先权,插入平衡插头,前面的标准立体声输出就断开了.

桥和非桥的状态切换,是内部自动切换的,根据需要,我会在里面设置一个矩阵开关.

For the pocket amp,the input socket is near the switching,the output socket is near the LED.

hi digi01 regarding the portable amp, theres an empty socket, can i place another piece of 2604 ap into it? thanks

the socket is placed for update,it has not hook up to the main circuit.you can just leave it empty.

the lc-king is design by a taiwan diyer called david lin.

this amp is a modify version.

1,the power supply part is my own design.it is a dual mono rail pairs.can find some detail here.

2,the amp part is based on lin's PCB board.classA/B mode.all active components are quality parts.I do some adjust basis on my experience.list here:

U1 op275 or opa2604<->(original ne5532)

U2 opa2604 or opa637pairs<->(original tl072)

all those four transistors are expensive alternative,these alternatives make sound lively & pleasure<->(the original transistors is cheaper 2sd882/2sb772 pairs)

all inner cable is not masking,I don't like masking cable.
