  1. Here you go, the pic of my Mylar One XB:
  2. Thanks guys! Will do some searching
  3. Has anyone tried the Creative E-MU 0404 USB, and know the cheapest place to get it? Thanks! http://sg.creative.com/products/product.as...9&product=15167
  4. I listened the Logitech X-230 in Alpha Wave, Sim Lim 6th storey, frankly speaking, I was amazed with the sound The vocal is very good for the price, thick and warm, and the bass is very big, need to reduced the bass on the subwoofer (there is bass volume control on the subwoofer), to make it sounds natural. But for the price, I think it sounds very good!!! Must try for those looking for sub SGD 100.- PC speaker.
  5. I bought Mylar 3 and Mylar 1 XB (extra bass) to replace my broken CK7. Really satisfied with both of them Thanks to all of you for the recommendations! I compared them with creative Zen microphoto, MP3 320 kbps, various songs, from classical, pop/vocal, jazz, I would say they sound similar. Only a tad different, the Mylar 1 XB lower bass is a tad more extended, and the highs is a tad smoother. So I choose Mylar 1 XB for the sound and the looks But really, only a tad different, I think most people will find them sound very similar. FYI, The Mylar 1 XB is about SGD 10.- more expensive, and to me it looks better
  6. Thanks Heady! So it is one black and one red I might get a pair and then paint it all black with Tamiya paint
  7. Thanks Heady! I mean, the red part on the back near the cable, is it also black? Or Red ? I don't want it looks like red earrings from a far
  8. I'm keen to know as well, as my ATH CK7 just spoiled, I'm looking for M3 or another razer m100 (I bought one for my wife). I'm looking for people who ever tried both of them
  9. My AT CK7 just spoiled, maybe pressed somewhere, and the left phone plastic broke Considering Mylar 3 or the Creative EP-630 clones ( http://www.sgheadphones.net/index.php?showtopic=7575 ). Is there any all black M3 available? Anyone ever compared it with EP-630 or Razer m100? Thanks!
  10. Yeah, the razer is not perfect, but enjoyable enough for the price My only complaint with the razer is the 'openness', the big bass somehow make the overall sound 'less open', or a bit muddy, less soundstage. But I would say, for the price, it's a good buy. The CX 300, if not sounds better, a cheat
  11. Looks like IEM clones: Senn CX 300 Creative EP-630 Edifier H260 Razer ProTone m100 Bought the Razer ProTone m100 for my wife, from Hung Bros. Haven't tried the other clones from different manufacturer. After using it for a few days, I would say, I like it Pros: - Excellent Bass - Light and Comfortable (depends on one's ears) Cons: - Slightly sharp treble and recess mid high. - Would nice if it sounds more 'open and natural' If you're used with Grado, I think the highs of the Razer is no problem for you. For those looking for warm and thick vocal, you might look other model. Don't get me wrong, the vocal is fine for the price (SGD 50 - 60 category), but not it's forte. Basshead, this cans is for you! Just recently check creative website, the creative model is cheaper, only SGD 45.-. I think it is worth the price if it sounds the same Conclusion, the best isolated cans (period) for it's price category (SGD 50-60) that I've tested so far. Recommended ! Added 30 May 2007: After longer burnt in and careful listening, I withdraw my conclusion for m100 as best sounding cans for it's price category. The reason is, the mid high and high are kind of unnatural to my ears. It lacks of transparency and brightness, and sounds a bit offensive for cymbal or other instruments that need natural high and mid high. But it is still worth the price, comfortable, and sounds good for some music. Still recommended, but with notes, depend on your music
  12. Excellent Photo Blues!!! The color really nice, high dynamic range I like the first, the horses , 7, 9, 12, 13... anyway all of them are very nice thumbs up!
  13. True, that Creative has issue with their QC for some models. But some models are pretty good. So, really depend on review and user experience. I have a Muvo 200, still going strong, despite the battery cover need scotch tape to keep it in place. Had some problem when first bought, but Creative support is pretty good and responsive, and the problem fixed with firmware upgrade. Recently just bought the old model of Zen Micro Photo. I bought it because it is very cheap for an 8Gb player, only SGD 179.-, online price. And the battery is easily replaceable. It sounds good, better than my Muvo, I guess because the battery has higher voltage than muvo. So far I'm happy with it Just a bit big and heavy for todays size, but for the price and quality... really, must buy one
  14. Someone said, brands always come from Europe and US. Creative is actually, a few years back, was really 'creative' in their R&D, but not creative enough, even until now, in the marketing side. They are trying to sell products, not creating lifestyle like Apple. So, I would say if their marketing want to be successful, they need to concentrate to establish their brand as lifestyle, as well as improving their product design and website. My2Cents
  15. No market I would say... these days the on board HD audio chip is good enough for most common tasks like music, movie, game, etc. So most people don't see the reason to spent more money on High End sound card. Their sound blaster is not good enough for professional. Professional need more. For example 48 VDC to power professional microphone, etc. For us, if we want good music, why turn on PC with all the fans noise? Just use our portables or desktop hi fi gear Which one do you prefer, spend the money for sound card or for portable gear? Unless you have budget for both No or very little market.
  16. Since you did it already, did you hear any difference ?

    CK9 vs CK7

If your ears sensitive to the bright high of CK7, CK9 offers a much better balance in all spectrum. The high is still on the bright type, but much better than CK7, sound smoother and not harsh, but still excellence in clarity. The Bass also very good And to my ears, it is more comfortable. I would say it worth the money!
  18. Looks interesting, new range of audio chips from National Semiconductor: Audio Products Selection Guide The LM4562 - Dual High Performance, High Fidelity Audio Operational Amplifier looks interesting, and it also comes in MDIP package Unfortunately, these days I got no time for DIY
  19. Price Reduced! Selling at SGD 300.-
  20. Just curious, has anybody done a test, whether ripping CD with EAC will make any audible different than any other ripping software?
  21. Thanks! Maybe they all made by the same ODM / OEM Creative EP-360 currently selling at SGD 65.-
  22. Just curious, don't you think they look similar: Sennheiser CX 300 (+/- SGD 120.-) http://www.sennheiser.com/sennheiser/icm_e...sf/root/500830# Edifier H260 (SGD 65.-) http://shop.w3cube.com/index.php?main_page...6a3ab98e683fbfb Has anyone tried them? Compared with AT-CK7? Mind to share? Thanks!
