1. Am selling the above cable brand new, only taken out to test. Comes with receipt from Stereo electronics dated 25 Sep. Am selling as I find the cable too long for me. RP at $75.
2. You are not allowed to post WTS. Read the rules.
3. Nah, I think I'll probably stop as is for now till I do something to my source (which is an iPod Classic). Of course, the portable amp option is a tempting proposition, but I'm just too lazy to carry additional stuff out when listening on the road.
4. Just wanted to share my experiences at Stereo today. Being an ultimate suakoo at portable audiDo, I headed down to Stereo to audition some IEMs, having come from some Koss KSC75s that leaked sound like hell. Was served by Aaron today, and great service - advice was honest, great and managed to get an Westone UM1 in the end. Of course, took the opportunity to try out the iBasso D2 (BOA?) as well, and it sounded great too. Keep up the good work Stereo!
5. A million thanks to zhapchit for facilitating this MO. Am pleasantly surprised by the sound quality of the KSC75. My apologies for arriving late, I thought the collection time was from 7pm onwards instead of 6pm. Thanks once again.
6. Rejoice! The headphones are finally here! Actually, I was wondering if someone will be kind enough to help me collect this (living near CCK), as I will be having exams this coming Mon. But if otherwise, I will be opting for option c). Many thanks to zhapchit for conducting the MO once again. My ears are singing after finding new earphones.
7. Hi, Thanks for the advice. As you can see, I have already amended my asking price to be $10 flat some time ago. My apologies for violating the guidelines, will take a look too. Regards, borez
8. Argh, I'm late again. If anyone backs out, let me know. Am willing to take one set. EDIT: Got my set from zhapchit's MO, thanks to all.
9. Argh, am too late to see this. If anyone wants to let go of their headphones, do let me know. Am willing to take over. Thanks.

11. upz for the day (if it's allowed?) edited some information.
12. Hi there, it's still available. Bid noted - could you PM me your contact?
13. Want to sell the following: A pair of new Audio Technica CM8 earphones that I got off a HWZ sale sometime back. Am not sure of the exact model, would need you guys to help me ID this too. It's a dual-function earbud, with both open and closed sides (please see picture). No box or anything, just the earbuds. Comes with a rather short cable (approx 75cm), no extension cable. Only worn it once (to try to fit it in), as I initally bought this for the closed portion, only to realise that I cannot fit this in. Have yet to do any burn in too (I forgot about this until I saw this chucked aside in my drawer). As this is a low cost item, I would like to meet at my convenience (CCK MRT on weekday evenings), or deal through post (postage to be charged at cost, separately). Personal opinions (subjective) using the open portion of the earbuds: It provides slightly more warmth compared to my burned in 888s (with the paper removal mod), but its not as clear and tight compared to the 888s. Similar characteristics to the 888s (less bassy). May require more extensive burn in to improve quality. One of the buyers fly aeroplane. First person to offer $10 will get it (excluding postage). Strictly to be dealt by post only. Some pictures:
14. Haha, that's hilarious. Thanks for the welcome though. Well, SGH isn't killing my SGD.. ClubSNAP is.
15. Thanks all for the replies. I'm thinking of getting closed cans/earbuds because I want some sound isolation when I travel on the bus. As much as the 888s suit me, I have come to realise part of the reason why I don't enjoy my music (on the road) as much is because of the ambient noise around. Unless I get the 888s and make custom earmolds by Jaben. As for the AKG K81DJ, thanks for the recommendation - but it looks quite big. Will give it a try. Any comments about Shure E2C? I'll try to give IEMs one last try before I totally give up on them. Understand that Stereo Electronics carrys most of the brands around, and that Hung Bros carry the AKGs and Senns. Remember during the last IT Show (in June) that Jaben carries AKG too. These are the stores that I can audition right?
16. Hi there all, I'm a current user of the Sony's MDR-888LP for approx 5 years, and the rubber sheathing of my 888s are starting to fall out (revealing the bare wires.) I'm currently starting to source for a replacement (preferably closed cans), and I was wondering whether you guys could help me on this. IEMs are out for me, as I always can't seem to fit IEMs into my ears. My preferences have somewhat inclined towards the 888s in recent years, with clear and rich midranges, with tight, punchy bass (I'm not a bass nut though). After some reading up, I've shortlisted down to the following: Senns PX200 Grado SR-60 (this is open though, sadly) iGrados (the design puts me off, heh) Audio Technica FC-7 (open?) AKG K26/K27i Koss KSC35/75 My budget's probably approx $100, but if it's really good, I could stretch it to $150-ish. I use an 3G iPod (unamped), and I listen to jazz, vocals (ie, 蔡琴, Frank Sinatra, Diana Krall), and occasionally trance. Thanks a lot everyone!
17. Gee all! Thanks a lot for the recommendations! I pretty much guess that the SR60 is out then. Actually, I've tried out the Sony MDR-EX71 before (with the smallest covers), and no matter on how I try, they can't seem to get it in... Actually, for in-ear buds, I'm actually looking at the Shure E2C. Etymotics are way out of my budget. how much are they actually? Will try to get a demo from one of my friends (I think he has it though).
18. Hi all! This comparison has probably been discussed to death in the forums, but I still can't reach a decision after reading them... so here goes: Am currently using a E888s for my iPod, and after 3/4 years of usage, I think my E888s are starting to give way (from the abuse I give it.. heh.) Am starting to look at some options, namely the PX200 and the SR60. I can't use canal earbuds, as my ear canals are rather small, and they can't really fit. Was actually looking at the SR60 more, but understand that it's open. Is it really that bad for outdoor listening? When compared to earbuds, does cans offer better sound isolation (in general)? I'm not bass heavy, so bass rendition is not so much of an issue, as long there's accurate, tight bass. I listen to mainly jazz and instrumentals, with pop, dance and rock at times. Was wondering if someone who has used the both give some comments/advice. Thanks a lot!
19. Just a tipoff, got this from ipodlounge.com: "Shure E2 earphones for $69.00 MicrophoneSolutions.com is offering the Shure E2 earphones for $69.00 + shipping (around $6.00) using coupon code G88E88. This offer is for a limited time. You get the 30 day Money back guarantee. Beware of e-tailers that advertise the E2 for less than $99. That means they're not authorized dealers. The E2 you buy from MicrophoneSolutions comes with a 2 YEAR replacement and/or repair by Shure. " Makes me feel like buying them....
