Sorry OT: Creative's Nomad Jukebox 3. Released a few—actually, many—years back.
-
Interesting...but how might I get those locally? And I don't mind a lack of bass, really.
-
http://www.creative.com/products/product.a...1&product=14702 it's quite small, but yeah, there's a photo of the case. -
Hmm, I think the E888s might be too fragile and I don't really want to baby this pair. It should take whatever damage I throw at it. Haha...
Any other suggestions?
-
My old pair is gonna crap out on me, so I'll need new ones. Anything on the market I should be looking out for?
What I'm looking for:
- Easy to put on (and take off)
- Not too expensive (less than $100 or so)
- Shouldn't break too easily
- Should be easy to store
- not an IEM
- not a clipon
-
Still available?
-
Does anyone know how much are the MS1s?
-
-
Very interested - smsed you. =)
-
I'm interested to go along too, but it seems there are none left?

Edit: hmm, 13 pieces left here: http://cgi.ebay.com/Koss-KSC-35-Stereo-Hea...1QQcmdZViewItem

Love this piece... which arrangement do you think is the best? I'm looking for a compilation of some sort, are there any good ones?

The behind-ears concept is well-executed and is really comfortable with my E3c, the E2c should be better because the wire doesn't leave the earphones perpendicularly. However, the flipside is that you can't use it in the conventional way.

What tools are required and where would be a good place to get them?

If i want to make an amp like that, where do i start? must i know how to solder? You should learn, otherwise the components won't stay on the board
j/k
Reading would also be a good way to start.

Both should be fine, its the low frequency sounds that most phones have trouble keeping out.
-
Hehe I think he needs a balanced Zu Mobius and the Blockhead with Stepped Attenuators.
-
And this is one panel from the Borobudur temple:(BTW - how come you guys can upload pics > 100 KB?)
Use a image host like Photobucket, Fotopic or Imageshack and post it here using the tags.

You might want to get a used Grado SR-60, they're very good for that genre. It's $120 new.
Or Koss PortaPros which are $85.
Prices from this thread, may be outdated..

Yes the grille can be opened. You can even pop a HD650 grille in if you like

While I think the 414 pads are pretty expensive, I don't think any of us is in the position to ask him to change the prices. Sure, we can tell him that it can be had for $7.50, but the setting of prices is his prerogative.
Myself, I find that paying $3 for having a pair of pads nicely cut isn't that expensive. It's better than doing it yourself and ruining the pads, no?
Lastly, flaming isn't the best way to get your message across. Typing in legible English helps too.

The Sony MDR-E888LP's are out of production but sound good especially with amplification. I know it's hard to find them on sale in the local shops.I've spotted some pairs still on sale at about S$75 at one of the shops in Sim Lim Square, 1st storey. I can't remember which shop so those looking will have to hunt a little there.
Also, I don't remember seeing them on sale at Jade Gift Shop, Shaw Towers when I was there with my ex a few months back.
Available at bluetin.com.

So what's the price of the flats from MBD? Anyone?
BTW the head-fi group buy going on now for flats in Australia has a quoted price of AUD 36, which is S$45.
What's the diff? WMP vs CDex - 192kbps

Best way to rip a CD-DA to MP3 is through EAC then LAME 3.97b.
See http://www.chrismyden.com/bestmp3guide.php for EAC settings. That guide recommends Lame 3.90, but it's terribly slow compared to 3.97b (which has the newer --vbr-new flag), which is what Hydrogenaudio recommends.
