  1. I'm having a hard time coming to terms with selling these cans to fund a JH13. I might not want to sell them cuz I keep falling in love with these beauties the more I listen to them. Some say these cans don't benefit from an amp, some say if its a DAC/amp the difference is noticeable. I'm running ALAC/FLAC files played via iTunes/Play on my Macbook Pro. The MBP has an optical out so I'd like to take advantage of this, provided the SQ is higher than the USB out for the portable DAC/amp recommended. Some options I'm looking at right now are: uDAC, IBasso D4 and D10, RSA Predator and Headamp Pico. I've read some of the threads, and I recall slwiser or someone saying that the TTVJ portable millett hybrid sounds awesome with the ESW10JPN. But this amp doesn't have a DAC so that's a concern. I could always pair the uDAC with but a single all-in-one unit would be preferable. Let me know what you guys think I should go for!
  2. Looking for the Senn HD600. Please PM if you have these to sell. Please include price wanted, condition and warranty if there is any. Thank you!
  3. Running the DT 150 out of a Visely HEA-1 Portable/Desktop Headphone amplifier at the moment. A good amp to get me started but I'd like to get a feel for what I should be aiming for in the very near future. What would you head-fi'ers recommend for the DT 150. It's rated at 250ohms FWIW. The sound is in short: very natural. Excellent balance at the lower end, mid-range and treble. Detailed yet lush. As you can see I'm totally enamoured with them. I think I've found THE cans for me, hence now the next step is to get an amp that'd enjoy perfect synergy with these. Source is an iPod Classic and an iMac G5. Using regular interconnects at the moment. Here's the link for the Visely amp I'm using at the moment: Visely HEA-1
  4. Hi DIYers! I need some help with a recable for my K81DJs. How much does it cost for parts and labour? Please pm if you can do the recable and let me know how much you'll charge = ) Muchos gracias!
  5. Looking for a budget-priced integrated amp or receiver preferably below 100 dollars. Working condition. If you have a Sonic Impact T-Amp with power supply all the better = ) Also budget bookshelf speakers, preferably below 200 dollars. Please pm me if you have such equipment to sell. Thank you!
  6. yeah i was pretty keen on the atoms after having read the reviews on them online. paired with a t-amp it'd be a pretty good setup on the budget i reckon. but are the atoms available in singapore in the first place. i have a sneaky suspicion they'd be better than the aego m, but that's just me.
  7. Hi guys need help on this front as I've had no previous experience with re-chargeable batteries and the like. Need a charger that can fill up AAs and 9v batteries as well. And what re-chargeable batteries would you suggest? AAs are for my Panasonic SL-SX500 PCDP, and the 9v is for my incoming amp. Probably a Go-Vibe, Xenos or a LDM+. Please specify price and where I can get them. Your help and advice is much appreciated!
  8. where do you guys purchase the sonic impact t-amp? i've heard good stuff about the paradigm atom speakers, but i'm not sure if they're available in singapore.
  9. Bump! Price is negotiable. Please pm me to discuss! Cheers
  10. 100odd seems pretty reasonable for a DAC. Then how much would a PIMETA cost in total inclusive of parts, case and labour? And is there anyone in these forums that I can look for to help me build both?
  11. wow that's pretty reasonable considering commercial options. what about the cost of building an amp like the PINT, or since the boards aren't available anymore say a PIMETA? I'm looking for a good DIY home amp. A transportable one is a plus.
  12. Hi guys! I'm pretty interested in going DIY, but my lack of know-how and inherent ignorance of electronics - only know how to buy them = ) - has led me to seek some builders. I'd like to get a feel of how much you guys charge for building an amp and DAC. Looking at the Alien DAC and PINT as one of the options. How much does it cost to build these two units?
  13. yeah i'm very keen on this too, as i've just learnt that their not available in singapore. sigh = (
