Yeah I got that static noise too whenever I turn the volume knob. Worse when using with the walwarts, the moment I touch the knob there is a humming noise. But it works well with my Nokia 6280->AD-15 adaptor->Go-Vibe-> ksc-75/er6 setup. Weird huh.

Ahhh no wonder Mr W told me to use nivea lotion some time last week when I hurt my ears with ER6 flanges. This solution kills 2 birds with one stone. Your ears smells nice and the IEM slips right in easily.

No problems ... me quite nooby too. If you feel squeamish abt hygiene. Get wet wipes and wipe them test flanges clean before you shove it in your ears. With it being semi wet, it'll be easier to insert too. But like Jeremy said ... once in awhile who cares hehe. Dun think so much about it.

Oh yeah not recommended as I got tangled up with my ER6 wires too around the neck and hand. Must have been some dream. To me the Westone UM1 was most comfortable to sleep with hehehe. Nowdays I just use a cheapo earphone if I need music to sleep. I spoiled my Shure E2 when I fell asleep with it. The ipod got wedged near the bed headboard. The wires got tangled up during sleep and when I woke up, I sat up and yanked on the cables. For the rest of the day I was cussing myself because the left side of the earphone is dead.

U mean Jaben ... Mr Wilson will FORCE you to sit and listen as he did to me. As he aptly put it ... only your ears can decide for you what's best. Anyway the man himself will put you right at home with his warm smile and friendly advice/banter. Stereo shopspace is much bigger and Mr Aron is super helpful too but it being a shopping area you tend to get distracted with the LCD TVs hehehe. Too bad I moved from Woodlands to Sengkang so Jaben is nearer to me. I only go to these two shops now. Used to frequent Hung Brothers before knowing this forum.

Hi Biogentic ... I am using the V200 with my etymotic ER6. Sounds heavenly to me ... the impt thing is will it be the same for you. So I suggest why don't you go and test the earphones of your choice with the player. Sometime later I paired it with the Go-Vibe amp after hearing it at Jaben and I was stumped with the end result. Its even better with the ipod Shuffle but lack of EQ on the shuffle sometimes have me back with the V200. Sound is subjective ... what works for us might not work for you. Just don't get hit by upgradetitis like me. No good for wallet especially with shops like Jaben and Stereo around hehehe.

Hi forummers, I have a pair of Westone UM1 for sale. Everything in the package except for one short comply and one standard comply. I will include in the Shure soft flex sleeve, clear flex sleeve (both medium size) and a modded biflange. Bought this on July 06 from Jaben. Oh maannnnn what a soundstage .... hehehehe ok that's enough dreaming. Top-Gun, I prefer the IC I got from afbug in classifieds compared to the Cardas. Something seems to be missing when I use the cardas. Maybe its just my ears. By the way the IC I tested from Mr W ... the one with the gargantuan plugs sounded quite good too. Ask him to show you but the size defeats using it on the go.
