    Background Noise

Hi all, PC onboard sound/WAV files->mini jack 2 RCA->headamp->cans hearing quite a bit of background noise. Considering one of the following options to cure the problem. The noise increases with inc in volume to the point when I scroll mouse it starts to distort further. Its quite obvious on slow tracks. Need your advice on which option would be most practicle. 1) get a sound card (currently using onboard sound) 2) get a USB dac (externally powered) 3) change my PC power supply Thanks in advance
  2. Nope...normal 1m rca-rca

  8. Senn HD 414 yellow pads (brand new/plastic) & Beyer headband (practically new) SGD30 for both Deal at Century Square this weekend. Tks!
  9. Looking at SGD320. Condition good Audition during office hrs in Tampines for next 3 days if u bring yr source/cans. http://www.positive-feedback.com/Issue9/cordaha1.htm Tks!
  10. gotcha..that was bit of frustration there. using Zu oxyfuels ....since i plugged in the splitter...sounds gone to a point where the headout from the CD7300 sounds better. If someone tells me the splitter needs to "burn in" for 100hrs..i'll probably fall off my chair..haha
  11. prefer those soldered with Neutriks and deal around Bedok/Tampines/Pasir Ris Thks!
  12. I missed my 2channel system so badly that i got a budget set up after ditching it for pure headphone rig recently. Now im screwed. I have to use an RCA splitter (fro CD7300 to Corda heamp amp/digital receiver) and the sound sucks (bright /thin) via headphones. Is there anyway to MOD a second pair of outputs on my CD7300? tks!
