  7. jasonhanjk any op-amp thats single not dual can replace Lm6171 if so how much juice should it be able to handle

I really wont be able to tell if it only yours till i build this verson on some of the other versions its one the two problems listed. then again you could just have a ground wire thats not soldered good enough. also i have a question is there an alternative to using the LM6171 other than using caps. just wondering if there was another version or maybe another company made one close to LM6171.
  10. It might. shorter runs are always the best but very hard to do plus it depends on the case you will put the moy in. i'm sure some of the more advance builders here can add to this.
  11. Sounds like RF. do you hear radio stations or any thing other than the music thats playing and this whee sound. other wise it might be oscillation.

  14. Try incressing the cap size to 470uf @25-35volts this may help i'm sure some of the more better builders will have more to add. I myself plan to use 470uf 50volt caps.
