Hi newbie here, do you diy cables for people? Thinking of 18 ft, Canare plugs and Belden cable, stereo connection, for guitar? Any suggestions?

My Sony EX-71 just gave way. One side just died. I always find EX-71 a little tiny bit muddy on bass, and fairly harsh on treble. Prior I was using E888, very tight bass n treble, but not in-ears. Any model that marries both qualities? Any ear adapters to convert non-in-ears to become in-ears? Any recommendation guys? From audio-technica, creative, panasonic or philips perhaps?
