  1. Price is SGD180 firm. Selling because hardly used with other headphones around. Less than 6 month old. Bought from Jaben. Interested pls sms 9298 8984. Cheers
  2. thanks to the organisers for making this happen - as well as everyone who contributed their wonderful equipment!!! don't think the Diva amp could drive the K1000 - had requested for mine to be tweaked for that - started clipping around 1130 onwards .... my Diva is still with TS - Steve mentioned that the transformer needed to be replaced ... still waiting for it, will bring it to the next meet.
  3. as a previous newbie tube user (cayin) it isn't difficult to remove and replace the tube. u can slowly pull out the tube and insert new one in. if you buy the tube from frankie of wells audio (Burlington Square), he may help u replace the tube. do a search on the forum and u can find some previous threads on tube rolling for the cayin. i have experience with the mullards only. cheers

  6. got hold of Zu Audio. cable repaired. thanks everyone.
  7. just to share with u my limited experience in cdp, i have moved from a marantz 5400 to a cambridge azur 640c v1 to finally to a ts lim modded marantz 63se (doesn't mean i will stop here, just that i limit my listening to new cdps to protect my wallet). my 2 cents, to my years (ymmv), i can hear a big enough difference moving from one cdp to another. u can either buy the cheapest "decent" cdp or go max of your budget. the best is try both and see whether you can tell the difference and if the difference is worth the money. if you buy the "decent" one now, u may be tempted to upgrade later (probably like many of us). but if you go straight to the most expensive one you can afford, you may realise later it may not be worth the difference, ymmv.
  8. Hi guys Thanks for the response. Apologies for my careless description. It's the aluminium part. Maybe I should send it back to Zu in the US. Hoping to avoid the shipping costs to and fro. Many thanks once again.
  9. Hi Guys I unfortuntabley got the connector socket of Zu Mobius cable to the cup of the Senn HD6** headphone loosen (no camera so can't post pics to show it). The plastic cover over the two pin sockets on one side has been separated from the cable. Anyone know where I can get it fixed in Spore or knows to how to fix it? Tried Robert at LHS but he wasn't very sure how to do it. Appreciate all the help! Cheers and thanks.
