  1. gosh. i'm going give up on the hassle of trying to contact them and asking if they'll warrant my shures.. thankfully i got myself a UM1 now
  2. thanks guys for the replies appreciate em.
  3. just checking, if shures sg will repair shures bought from earphonesolutions.com ? which is still under warranty.
  4. oops. sorry.. new to all these terms.. btw, I GOT MY UM1! guys at SE were patient as i asked questions, played around with the um1 tips, tried e sf3 too.. but i prefer the comfort, lightweight and durability(as claimed ) of the um1 to the sf3 which i had trouble putting them on.. happy owner now~
  5. its ok~ can see many are excited when it comes to any earbuds discussions la.
  6. i guess what's left is for me to test drive them ?
  7. which would be nearer the price for the UM1 or the E2c? budget is below 200.. tho' have to say after burn in for my E2c, i've goton used to the level of bass it produced.. guessed the proper seal is important too?
  8. Not to hijack, though still on same topic.. please help in affirming my questions if i should go ahead with e UM1 purchase.. I'm currently using a Shure E2C, it has recently "broken down" and i'm trying to give myself a excuse to change! some of my queries, i understand that comparing the UM1 to the E2C, the UM1 wins hands down? But am just concerned about the bass? I'm not a very audio-technical person, but at first when i got my E2C, i really felt i've lost my bass (i guessed as compared to my Sony EX series i used prior to my E2c). Just concerned if further bass would be lost? Pls be gentle with the technical terms? I can get quite lost and over em. Appreciate all the feedbacks!! btw, from much reading and browsing here, i find ppl in this forum are all so warm and cool!
  9. no leh.. whu says only guys wears IEM....
  10. ha.. spug has been down for a while now..... a temp site is up for your temp fix lol.
  11. hi guys! first post here! I started with all these earphones buying fancy when i got my ipod .. the stock ones hurts my ears! grr. started with Sony EX series (many of them) but their cables keeps breaking and tearing.. its terrible.. and not to say, turning yellowish and "sticky" after a while. gave up, and jumped on board to the above $100 earphones. first and still am using Shures E2c. Sadly, after a yr of usage, i think its giving the "cracking" noise when i bend or turn my cables at certain angle. sigh. (goto check out the service ctrs soon) Does anyone have the problems of long cables for the Shures?? its annoying as its difficult to handle and keep them tidy. i guess i wrap them too tightly around my sumijin's .... oh well. am checking out the UM1 which apparently its so highly recommended around here. btw, am reporting in just to let everyone know my exsistence (not to be deleted. lol) reading and learning most of the time. ^.^ gd day to all!
