  1. Fake UM56's from other forums, and the user concerned apparently does not know? Pray tell, which forum this supposed counterfeit was posted? Inquiring minds want to know <_<

Yeah, I saw this supposed announcement from the dealer. I would strongly advise that he checks his facts more thoroughly before posting lest he appears foolish.

So I guess customer specified UM56 is counterfeit customs is it?

Acutally the pic of the earmolds here looks like big pieces of earwax, looks damn cheapo.

I do not think it is very professional to go around making snide remarks about other retailers, especially unsubstantiated ones.

Buyers please do check your facts too from supposed offers from this dealer as there are hidden costs involved.

  2. Think you can check out Jaben for the prices for E4C, would also be a good idea to check out the UE superfi 5 Proo and the UM2 as well.

My friend lend me his Shure E4C to test water. And this phones is really very solid. But he told me he bought it at $499 :DD

THATS $499!!! For christ sake. But the quality is really top notch. Now i'm thinking... if i have $500 bucks to spend. What other option do i have beside the Shure E4C?

    Are there anything better?

I listen to the Lene Marlin Track "Its True" and with my friend E4C, i feel like Lene is singing in front of me. :lust::drool::drool:

  3. I think for listening before falling asleep the sens MX400 should be good enough, at least if somehow during your sleep you happen to spoil the cables, it won't be so painful for your wallet.

    Westone Um1 and Um2, Sennheiser CX300 In-Ear, Apple In-Ear, Etymotic Er4, Er6, Shure E2C

I heard about problems with people sleeping with Shure E3C, where the grey sleeve went too deep for extraction when they wake up.

Ultimate Ears Super.fi series are definitely not sleep-friendly unless switch-sides of the drivers. But not so sure about the comfort though.

There are also a few fellow forumers who nearly killed themselves when they toss and turn during their sleep with IEMs. :D

    Have fun!
