  1. Waah we have the same shipping date man! I ordered June 8th.

What Shipping did you choose? I got EMS as I find EMS tracking useful specially as it enters SG already. =)

I chose USPS Priority Mail International (6 - 10 days). Did you get anymore updates?

Todd is not replying to my emails.

  2. Only "F1" defect as show in the pics, place my order on 18 May (Order #5647)

Jeff steady lah! Always on the 'can' as ever. Now promoted to mod also ah, coolness!!

The HF-2 is looking good although I wished they would at least correct the typo so as to make it fair to the rest of the owners. So anybody here who has the now 'very rare' CanJam HF-2's?

  3. This item was made for me by Ken at ALO to replace a defective Super Cotton Dock which I returned to him, made to work the iMod with RSA portable amps. Hence it comes with low profile switchcraft mini plug instead of the Canare F12 plug. Item is brand new and never used, still in the ALO packaging. New from ALO will cost you US$155 ~ SG$230.

    Selling price - $175

I'll entertain bargaining offers but serious lowballers need not apply and will be kindly ignored (inclusive of speedpost).

Preferred method of payment is PayPal or Bank Transfer to my UOB account.

Below is the picture of the actual item -

NB. This item is also advertised elsewhere in the internet.

    ANYBODY GOLF's?

A man staggers into an emergency room with a concussion, multiple bruises, two black eyes and a five iron wrapped tightly around his throat.

Naturally, the doctor asks him what happened.

Well, it was like this", said the man.

"I was having a quiet round of golf with my wife, when at a difficult hole, we both sliced our ball into pasture of cows.

We went to look for them, and while I was rooting around noticed one of the cows had something white at its rear end.

I walked over and lifted up the tail, and sure enough, there was a golf ball with my wife's monogram on it, stuck right in the middle of the cow's butt.

That's when I made my big mistake."

"What did you do?" asks the doctor.

Well, I lifted the cow's tail and yelled to my wife, 'Hey, this looks like yours!'.

I don't remember much after that...

  5. av98m, if you ask me. To be honest there is no big deal wink.gif

The best solution, in my experience, is never to turn electronics 'OFF'. No thumping, no *piak* sound tongue.gif or what ever. If you do insist in turning them off then my advice would be to turn the volume down in your amp and switch it OFF then procceed to switch OFF your other source equipments, through out this course it is up to you to have the amps loaded or not. I think this is a 'SANE' habit to have. Think about it, if you had a big speakered system you wouldn't want to have to feel up the back of your amplifiers to disconnect the speakers before switching the amplifier off, would you?

Equipments nowadays are built robust and I really doubt any manufacturer will release equipment that will break down just by turning them ON/OFF loaded or unloaded over any given period of time. Unless, it's a 'Dudd' or your cans are DIY'ed I'm not sure. In any case, blown electronics are deemed less difficult to fix rather than 'BLOWN' cans. etys.gif

  6. Personal auctions aren't fair, especially being run by a single person.

Think about it - Buyers are not protected from the Sellers in many ways for example -

Sellers have absolute control on the bids and price. Bids are not held by a neutral party.

This way a seller can sabotage the auction citing another bidder has offered more hence jacking up price even when the said higher bidder is only fictional (non existent). Buyer ends up paying more than they should.

I can think of more examples but there is just far too many.

Who is going to monitor these auctions anyway?

Worst case scenario, is this forum ready for liability charges when an auction deal gets nasty?

My take! Forums are not an auction house. There are options on the internet for auction which are properly governed by rules that are made for this form of trading. Check them out!
