    Have actually been dying to hear the B22s for myself for a while now, so i'm pretty sure many in sunny Singapore have been itching to hear as well. Maybe a mini informal meet-up to hear the B22s with some cans might tip some of the "on the fence" purchasers over into committing.

     

    maybe you would like to organise a meet? u have great stuff there

    Yes, it's easy molex plug for the Anolog out, HP out as in the picture.

    But not for Analog In, DAC In, DAC out, Analog in (fr Jack) etc..

    I actually own the same version as above.

     

    Anyway.. really so looking forward to let mavwong mod it for me like he did to his.. !!

     

     

    removeable type, if cannot pull out, I do 1 set of cable for you FOC..(parts excluded)

    Can any guru guide me on how to unplug the cables from the circuit board as in exchange to better cable especially the DAC out cable suggested by mavwong. They seems not the typical easy to pull out type but more likely soldered on board.. ?

     

    those with connectors are able to remove, but some have a latch, but easily removed

    ACS custom sleeve made custom mould,

     

    custom mold to DIY custom sleeve,

     

    not promising on the 1st attempt

     

    I believe it will work, but I just need to make a better mould, so to create a better DIY custom sleeve

     

     

     

    after much handling of the silicon, no side effect on skin and find it pretty to handle

    I don't think there are engineers and electricians in Sony Singapore. They send items to Malaysia to get repaired. When I brought broken Walkman to repair, Sony service center told me that, and he found the walkman was Japanese version (manufactured in Malaysia) and said, "You need to go to Sony Japan." And my Discman D22 is made in Japan. I don't think even Sony Japan can fix it. They are irresponsible about more than 10 years old product. But I know there are shops or persons who can fix just adjusting some Variable Resistors.

     

    uhmm, not sure, but they did service my sony cdp-x3000(12 years old) last year, change lens, buttons, wear and tear servicing

     

    they should have a servicing manual, they are mnc so this should be documented

    Hi all, i current having ipod 5th gen. But it sounds really bad when i go with my TF10. therefore i am looking for a new mp3 player. Any suggestion? i do not need fanciful features, i juz need a decent player most importantly is the sound produced and with at least 32gb of memory. Cowon S9 is too fanciful for me. Sony X series is too expensive for me..

    Thanks for the reply. Assuming I were to do this myself, could i get all the parts off AMB audio? Or do i have to go thru mouser and digikey for certain components? Also the enclosure from the RS Singapore website fits?

     

    only critical parts from amb... the rest caps,resistor self purchased, online is easier with the part no. given by amb

     

    if it is in the BOM from amb is compatible
