    hi, i dont mind if the repair is not perfect, if the earphone remains usable....will pay for the repair, can anyone help?? thanks

     

    ehh who will take the risk for you....

     

    you think properly to open up the shell, is like opening a walnut

     

    why not you try opening yourself, and if a success, you may ask someone to replace cable for you.

    hi bros, as above, can anyone help, would be willing to pay for the service, have the wires splitting out of the earphones, i am located in sg, thanks

     

    the tricky part here, is to break open the shell without breaking anything, and place it back nicely

     

    someone did 530, but it wasnt perfect after the shell is assembled

    If I'm using Canare L-4s, how to do the soldering? If I'm not wrong, it also have copper shielding, right? Do you use the copper for grounding or use another 2 core for ground, or just use 1 for ground?

    I usually use the 2 core and with the shield to ground.

    1. where I can buy the cable/jack, and

    2. what kind of cable/jack recommended.

     

    But will do the 'surgery' myself.

     

    Why mini coaxial plug not the usual mini stereo/rst?

     

    since u are doing this surgery yourself

     

    I suggest

     

    1. open up the headphone, measure how much space u can place the plug

    2. design the cable and plug layout

    3. go to Sim Lim Tower , take a look at the components, that is suitable

    4. cable can be bought at 2nd floor, a shop name LHS , lots of cable available (I always use Canare L-4s for headphone, 4 core and easy to use)

     

    mini coaxial plug not the usual mini stereo doesnt matter... is up to your design. and can it be implemented on the headphone.

     

    but if you use stereo plug, u just need 1 plug, so 1 side plug, maybe your route 1 side of the headphone through the headband

     

    is up to your creativity

    Two types of sound are usually caused by machinery: Airborne sound and Vibration sound.

     

    Soundproofing by vibration isolation:

     

    ome of our pads are high quality elastomeric ribbed neoprene , specially compounded to resist aging, compression set, water and oil. They are constructed with alternate rib heights, cross-ribbed, with a cork center for additional sound isolation. Durometer of these pads is 60 on the “A” scale. (The best).

     

    Maximum loading capacity of each cork center pad: 50 pounds per square inch. Pads may be stacked for increased isolation and capacity. ( A 2″ pad will support 200 lbs).

     

    Pick the size pad for the bearing weight, not the size of the footing! 3″ pads are best for 2X4 sills for wall studding, etc. Put under the studs or space about 2-3 feet apart under the sill depending on wall load. Use the 2″ X 3/8″ pads neoprene without cork as support for your drywall panels edge. Cork center Pads are all approx. 7/8″ thick.

    is it sibilance?

     

    SIBILANCE. The presence of strongly emphasized s, sh, ch, z, j sounds in speech called sibilants

     

     

    some song is recorded with sibilant artifact, so no matter what u do cant get rid, unless alter the music

     

    you may also try other ripper, eg dbpoweramp

     

    in short, sibilant no way out, unless u choose a less sibilant iem like IE8 or your EQ your music by altering or at the player
