The Almarro got good responses on Headfi. I pair my K1Ks with a Pass Labs Aleph 30 (30watts) single ended solid state which has the benefits of solid state and also warmness of tubes. However, I've recently got my hands on a Airtight 300B set amp, but have not set it up yet. May consider selling the Aleph if the Airtight is a keeper. Havent tried tube amps b4 so not sure if I'll like it. Moreover, SS amps need less warm up time b4 being "listenable" and not much maintenance too. U can demo the Almarro at Aural Designs (Adelpi) but don't think they have one with an XLR jack for the K1K. IIRC that is an option that the US dealer offers, u can check with Aural Designs if they'll do it as they do customization upon request. However, I havent seen any 4-pin XLR jacks available in Singapore, but I didnt check thoroughly. Not sure if LHS has it.

Got a mint Stax 4040II set for sale. Consists of Stax 404 earspeaker and 006t tube amp. Absolutely near new condition, took out and used for barely 20hours. Works great but got too many headphones, so gotta let this one go. Original packaging included (box also brand new mint condition) Unit is from Kingsley but lost receipt, slightly over a year old. Got an excellent NIB set that I'm thinking of letting go. Looking at $2200.00 $2000 o.b.o. (new set at $2800) Its a local set from Kingsley Comes with the SR-404 earspeaker and SRM-006t amp (silver faceplate).

Got a couple of 6SN7 tubes I can include.

Where did you get the hp stand from? How much are they? They look great!

Got a highly rated AKG K340 for sale. Excellent condition except for loose elastics (same problem as with many K340); does not affect performance. For sale at S$SOLD

Got a Stax Lambda Pro (NOS) & SRM1/MKII (Black) combo for sale. Both in good condition; only took out to test; please note that as with all vintage Stax earspeakers, the foam covering the driver has disintegrated and this has no impact on the performance whatsoever. Box available for the Lambda Pro only. Bought on a whim; together with many many other stuff; including a Stax 4040 system. Will let it go for S$1300 S$1200.
