Oh,i think the only one who can gives comment rightfully on both UM56&UM2 and ES2 is someone who owns them (I only own UM2 without UM56) Pardon for my wrong impressions on UM2 with UM56. http://www4.head-fi.org/forums/showthread.php?p=2128529

Using the long foam tips,never tried UM2 with custom earmolds so i don't know what are the differences compare to ES2.Maybe isolation wise,on par. But when it comes to sound,i think it's the same (muffled) as without UM56,IMO that is. To me,UM56 is to provide a better isolation so you'd get to hear the sound clearly. But it doesn't improve alot on sound quality,i think so lah. There surely a difference between UM2+UM56 and a ES2,the dual bore drivers. If there isn't any much difference,no one would have spent so much money on a ES2 liao.

Yeah today i have sent my ES2 back to Westone.They should receive it by Thurs night. And when i put back my UM2 again,oh my god,i wasn't quite used to it as i have quite used to using ES2 for the past 2 days.The difference in sound was obvious,muffled & not as detail as ES2.I can straightaway felt that it was a totally difference experience between the Universal & Elite series.And i have to turn the volume higher compare to using ES2. Still when i was listening music with UM2 on the bus,i could heard people talking around me. Hopefully i can get back my ES2 early next week.

UM2 sounds abit 'vague' compares to ES2,imagine UM2 is like a pair of speakers with a blanket covered on it,you'll get the idea.Though both models are dual drivers,it's just the different positions which the drivers sit and that makes alot of sound difference! And yeah,ES2 is sensitive ,do not have the need to turn the volume high just to listen more detaily,like my Creative Zen:M,the max volume is 25,i only need to turn up to between 13 to 15 (or even lower) Isolation wise,it's very good,though it never block out 100% surrounding noise,still,it managed to block out 80% (or more) of it! I can just sleep on the bus with ES2 on without the disturbance of the bus engine .And when i was waiting for bus,i tried to see whether how much noise i could hear from a motorcycle passing by,well,it was like a bee buzzing around you or even softer! I need more time to compare between UM2 and ES2.Shall explore more during weekends.

Finally,after weeks,i've gotten my precious ES2!!! And when uncle Wilson told me that Westone had forgotten to embedded the design on it,i was like How could they forgot about that?! Well,uncle Wilson said that he will liase with Westone and see how. (But i think should be no problem since the fault lies with Westone ) But i do not have a camera,and my v3I sucks in camera quality.Pardon me for bad pictures taken. Willing to splurge on ES2 because i have read alot of reviews about it which the people from some forum said that it sounds alot better than UM2,and the pricing range is a different of hundreds bucks,which is the reason why i had to give it a thought carefully whether to get it.There are surely reasons why there is a alot of difference in price. Alot of ang moh well known singers are using it too,i believe it would be great if i am owning something even better than UM2 As Wilson said: "Customised are always better"

Yeah,the ES2 is customised to you and you are the only one to use it. So once i get hold and paid for it,that's it,forever it shall stick with me.Few years down the road,either i put it one side for another pair of better performance IEM (hard to say) or i throw it away (IMPOSSIBLE)!OR if i ever found some audiophile whose ear canals are the same as mine,i shall sell it to him (Doesn't mean i am an audiophile,at least) What are MOs?

I have read quite a number of reviews about ES2,so i am just curious about is there any ES2 user here in Singapore. I found out that there are actually alot of artists in USA using it,and they are very satisfied. Was wondering why is it that ES2 cost much more than UM2 although both are dual drivers,it is because that ES2 is made to custom our ears and the earmolds are fixed to the earphone.And heard from Wilson that,ES2 is technically better than UM2 as it is customised. And i had just ordered a set of it from Wilson today,decided to take the plunge and spend the money on ES2. Of course,all of these had went through alot of thinking due to the cost.

I do not have the cable for connecting ZVM to the TV set.So i do not know anything about it. Wanted to get a set of Archos AV700, thought that i could get it by installment plan but Courts & Best Denki are not carrying it.Furthermore,it's too big to be put in my pocket So i shall stick to my ZVM till the day i am able to afford a slimmer mp3 player with a big screen.

Yeah,been to Jaben yesterday to make a pair of eamold and as usual,Wilson is very friendly and nice. Have asked him what is the purpose of AMP (sorry for my ignorance),immediately he let me test his AMP on my source with my UM2,and after awhile of listening,i found that AMP is able to sound out better details. Out of goodwill,Wilson lent me his portable AMP to bring it home and try it (of course,have to return it back haha) I think i shall stick to ZVM. But the problem is,how do i go on by amping it? (never asked Wilson as i was rushing for work)

Mmm,it is rather big,like a PSP,and i have read some reviews from amazon.com,they said that the colour resolution is not that good though it is in 262k display,and the rating is not satisfactory. Actually i've got a set of Creative Zen: M; it is a very good player but when it comes to sound quality,it holds me back to give it a 9 out of 10,just somehow feels that even pairing up with Westone UM2,still doesn't sound that great (not because of UM2,of course.but because of the player,i supposed.),even my friend commented that the sound quality is not up to his standard,BUT after he had viewed some action pack videos (with UM2 on),he commented that the sound quality sounds very good when viewing video clips (maybe because of the kind of vids he watched,plus the high end IEM UM2). So that is why i am looking for a player which is good in sound quality,though size (storage) matters alot. Just ask around only.Comments are welcome. And of course,i myself am not an audiophile.
