  1. Hi, guys, I just came back Singapore for one month and bought my new Ipod and the ath-ck7, since I just fall in love with the sennheiser MX90, so I want to let these things go.

ATH-CK7, retail price is 129, I'll let go for S$80, less than one month use, everything included.

Apple buds, I got two of them, one from the ipod itself and one form the remote radio control, brand new. retail price is something like S$59, I'll let go for S$40 each.

Can accept a little bit of nego, but won't be too much since the price is quite nice already, right? :D

    Please contact me at 90361795.

  2. Wow, a lot of queries, one by one:

Headphonecrazy, sorry, I'm not selling cyrus 7, I'm going to carry it back, I bought it for it's size and sound. showoff.gif

QOO, you can find some review of 11se here http://www.audioreview.com/Headphone,Ampli...42_2751crx.aspx

For my unit, it was bought about 1.5 years ago for $500+, firefox did a cap change recentlly, it sound a bit better than the original. yes.gif

Sipher, I don't have a ruler with me, the size of the cd area is about right the same as my HD7625, according to the spec of 7625, the size is 443x326mm (WxD), the wide is a bit lesser for about 20mm. For the high, the side plate is about the same high of a 24" speaker stand, maybe a bit higher. yeah.gif

  3. I'm going to leave Singapore for few month maybe, so have to clear some items hard to carry back, all at about half the original price, about 1.5 year old yeah.gifinnocent.gif call me or sms me at 91612713, I'm leaving at 30/11/03, so no much time for consideration blush.gif

    1) Harman Kardon HD7625 CD player * SOLD *

Second top of the line when released, the top is HD7725, search the web, find the "Hifi world" said HD7725 is "Harman/Kardon HD7725 £800 Jan 94 Construction is price-correct, but not the excessively relaxed sound." I don't find it excessively relaxed, used to compare it with friend's Pineer reverse transport player, sounds more dynamic than pineer. Bought for aroud S$300 on a sale last year, was told it used to sell for S$900+ when new released. Letting go for S$150.

One more plus point for this player is it has a quite good headphone output, my friend like it more than the headphone out of the Cyrus 7. Two sets of output, one fixed, one variable.

    2) Rack for mini hifi.

Bought for S$99, letting go for S$50, see pics attached.

    3) Adjustable chair.

Imagine lying on this chair with your headphone and music.

Bought for S$43, letting go for S$20.

    4) If anybody will buy my Creek 11se for S$290, I'm letting it go. Modded by firefox by changing Caps, clearer and with more base, good compensate for K501.

Sorry to leave, hope can see you guys soon. sleep.gif

I'll still be around the forum once I get the internet access over China. kicking.gif

    Mod edit

    - Edited the 'Greek' it should be Creek.

    - Sales status updated

  4. Hmm i always test my cans before buying from hung bros.  JUST REMEMBER TO STAY AWAY FROM THAT MOUSTACHE GUY.

    sleep.gif

Yup, that's the guy with moustache that say no testing on earphone.... dry.gif

But I don't know what is his name.....

Back to the topic, anybody try out before ATH-CM5? tongue.gif

I bought the CM5 two weeks ago, nice sounding phone, better than E888 IMHO. headphone.gif

I think they won't let you test the CM5 because the package is very hard to open and repack, so unless you are very familliar with them, no chance for a walk in fresh custermer. no.gif

  5. I have some experiences on this, I use Plextor cd-r drive with my laptop and the software is nero cd copy, while the black cd-r are warmer sounding with less sibilance, but the image also a bit blured compared to original cd.

  6. MX500 might be fine. But if you prefer pop, you might go for Aiwa V743 instead. These will be fine, since the library is quiet, and so you don't really need isolation. And they don't really leak sound. At least the MX500 doesn't. Wonder if our member "ting" who has experience with V743 can comment on how much sound it leaks.

I read somewhere that this V743 has some kind of design to reduce the sound leakage, I also find 743 to be less leak than normal, but keep in mind that I used to listen in quite low volumn.

  7. Modded 70 are good, mine died after 3+ years of use, 51 is not so impresive, don't have chance to try 71 though. PX200 also provide some extent of isolation with quite good sound if you can get the fit right, the isolation is sufficient for MRT or street walking.
