My mx500 said he want to retire, don't want to get another one, because I want someting fresh. Don't want to spend money to get another fragile E888 also.

I saw aiwa v743 for $35+, panasonic HV600 about the same price, also saw one JVC old bud for about $30 at Show Tower, looks like the sennheiser mx5, the boss said got people come back for it's sound quality.

Any idea from your guys?

DTX 700&800's bass is a bit too loose for my taste, 900 is better.

Ear bud face out, MD's mic sensitive tune to high, for fun only, can record talk up to one metre with mx500, the volumn is quite low though.

I used to try to record sound binauraly with my MD, using earbuds as mic, it was fun. I just can't find a stereo mini mic in Singapore with the left and right chanle can be separated far, any idea?

Yes, it was my 11se, I've been enjoying it for whole day.

Most noticeble change is the bass, it is deeper than before, the sound stage and detail also improved a bit, but form jack one, the bass could be tighter, I think the new cap need some burning in to get along with other old residents.

Last night, I did a brief listening with K501, quite a good match, the bigger and deeper bass made the 501 more enjoyable.

I'm using statmat blue, it does help. But when using with portable, it will mass up the rythem, I think it's because portables don't have enough power.

I'll be making a personal trip up north to China to audition a few head amps - Opera's Cyber 20, Yeli 8P, Cayin's HA1 and possibility the T-2A all at once. Might even carry them all back with me if they meet the minimum listenable challenge.

From where are you going to audit the yeli 8p? Are you going to meet Yeli himself? Do share with us your feeling of this famouse 8p, it's supposed to be very good for low impedance phones, maybe I need to get one for my W1000? But it's sounds like quite hard to get.
