  1. Firfox, thanks for letting us know, I will go find the disc you mentioned.  yes.gif

LOl ting I think firefox brought the cd that he's most familiar with. So there is no point in getting that cd that he used, coz it might be unfamiliar to you. I bet you have alot of favourite cds/songs too . You can actually use it to audition. As always, use what is most familiar to you so that you know the changes, etc. happy.gif

    Just my 100 yen

I know, I know, I can make it familiar to me after I get it tongue.gif

I'm interested in all kind of music, that's why you can see I brought soo many cds with me in the meeting, I just can't make up my mind which is my favorite, and you can also notice that I only used one of them that day, because I can't make up my mind which to use, so I just grab one lol.giflol.gif

  2. I say screw it all. if one has a unique way of defining 'reference', and thats how he likes it, shouldn't bother what the others think, or whether its the 'ideal' way to listen. if for eg. firefox likes doing it that way, I say, good for him. or if guyferd likes his boomy DT770, and everything else sucks. so be it. I think its sorta like religion. you think what you want. I think what I want. don't force your ideas on me, and I won't force mine on you! happy.gif

Ablaze, I don't think there are any kind of "forces" here, we are just sharing our experences, this is what this forum for, right? We learn from each other and improve ourselves w00t.gif

Are you refering to their "star buy" for each day with limited unit? Then forget it, my friend heard somebody talking about Qing over night already hammer.gif

I don't know the real situation of yesterday and now though yawn.gif

  4. Near to my office, tried to go with some of my colleague, gived up after saw the Q outside. blink.gif

My friend said it's not super cheap anyway. For example, sound work digital is told on ad worth 150, selling 79, I bought it years ago for 130, sound quit cheap, but my friend said you can buy it for aroud 90 at SLS, so it not worth Q for so long for only $10. I'm not sure about the price though, anybody know the price at SLS? It's just there are wayy tooo much people there wacko.gif

  5. As for ting's Creek, it's a pity I didn't have the equipment needed (allen key, wire, soldering iron & file) to fix the hum. Of course, all's not lost. I could probably get the hum fixed and the amp upgraded for a token sum at another point in time

You are booked, thank you in advance. yes.gif

BTW, I checked the amp this morning for a while, the hum seems gone, I will check it again later (just came back from outside).

And I also quite don't understand your tast of music and the way of auditing equipment, it's sounds like you just use a piece of music you burned into the cd-r and listen for less than one minute to make the conclusion, what music is it? What aspect are you paying attention for? What is the reference, live concert? Just curious, I think other guys also want to know, right? innocent.gif

As for your moded 570, it sound a bit weird to me, while the bass is quite strong and tight, but the vocal are not well defined, that's why you found me jerk up the volumn so high and normally I listen quite softly. headphone.gif
