The WAG354 is known to be a very very poor product. Having tried troubleshooting it before, you should almost immediately change your router if you want to retain your sainity. You would probably be better served getting Linksys WRT54G and loading in one of the alternative firmware and running a basic ADSL modem as bridge mode or buying some alternative brands.

Being quite impressed with this amp. However it does run quite hot? The entire enclosure goes to say 40-50 celcius? and is scalding to the touch Also, the headphone connector plug does heat up as well. Is that normal?

I think Adelphi back sounds ok since it is technically at City Hall. How's that for everyone. Cheers

Hi Guys, I just contacted Clemo and he mentioned Lavendar is better for him (due to easier parking outside) instead of City Hall. (Lavendar is 2 stops away from City Hall , Bugis then Lavendar) Timing would be on Saturday itself tentatively same timing. Let me know what you guys think. Ok, I got it figured out myself. ASIO prevents pollution of resampling by Windows Kmixer (or Kmangler as it is known) The issue was bypassing Window's kmixer and the fact that Window's, kmixer resamples everything to 48 kHz, which is undesireable, particularly if you want to use your HTPC for high quality audio playback of CD's.

Try the Chaintech AV 710 soundcard, if you are not getting any USB DAC devices. One of the better soundcards out there. At least it uses Wolfson DAC etc

Since we are on this topic, any feedback on ASIO. What are the benefits or cons per se. My understanding is that there should be no cons unless of course, your soundcard does not support or can't use it.

I once remembered from a friend that there was a lot of variations of jazz. Swing, Big Band, Bebop, Cool Jazz, Fusion etc etc. To me, I mainly listen to Coltrane, Miles Davis and likes. A dose of Fitzgerald is always in order if you ask me But seriously who cares what is labelled as? As long as it is MUSIC to you, go ahead and dive in after all One man's noise is another man's music
