feedback about such stuff is all fine and dandy, but shouldn't it be posted in the buyer/seller feedback subforum? in fact the issue was first posted there and this thread serves nothing other than a cross-post. for the record i am not adding to the choir, instead i do hope that members adhere to rules that have been stated. unless of course public lynching is part and parcel of this forum

depends on which part of serangoon. serangoon road itself is a VERY LONG stretch of road. if he meant serangoon central area I don't think there are any shops to recommend visiting its mostly residential area. do we need to PM the shops for an audition? i thought we could just rockup to the stores and see if they are available?

I do have one question - how does one test IEMs? considering that u have to put these into your ear canal - isn't there like a ... erm ... hygiene factor to it? (apolgies to DikiDino for taking the thread OT) edit: i want to try out the IEM with flanges - read alot of good things abt Bi- and Tri-flanges so think its time I gave those a go. I am using some crappy stuff that came with my sony ericson phone. (i know - some folks will cringe at that comment )

did a quick check on pricegrabber and this was what it spewed out. http://www.pricegrabber.com/p__Altec_Lansi...sort_type=price taking amazon's USD$67 - rounded up. so after some simple conversion its about SGD$106 (rough currency conversion). add in some shipping and my guess is about SGD$20? (please correct me on this, i could be wrong so a total of roughly $126-$130 ? (give take a few bucks) i can't speak for most folks but i guess thats the range i might be willing to pay? i admit to being a completely ignorant of the pricing trend of the iM716s but after much searching plenty of folks (over @ head-fi) seem to recommend these. (sorry this is my first post but i've decided to take the plunge to search for a good pair of cans - and happen to come across this local forum by chance yesterday. and thx 2 aaron-xp for pointing me to this forum as well /cheers)
