I second Xiao_Catz's recommendation. If you can afford, go straight for UM2 or even E500. No point getting EBs and upgrading from it subsequently.

For my first MO, I ordered 8 sets of SF3 Studio & 9 sets of SF5 Pro and they were all the new cardboard versions. Do let me know asap if you and your friend wanna order.

Oic, so far I tried all the coupons, and only the 5% works for all the UE earphones. Think the 10% and more are for Shure... Well, with the 5% discount, it will offset the 5% gst we have to pay, so it's the same in the end...

Disc?? The newer version of SF5 Pro actually sound much better than the older version, and the cables are also thicker and much more durable. And cherry red is a really nice color!

Thanks for the info! Now there's even more reason to order. So far, all the UE Super.fi earphones I tried can only work with 5% discount. Can somebody else please help to double-check? Thanks! But don't forget we also gotta pay 5% gst for the stuffs... so factoring in the 5% discount will help to offset the gst cost. TF10 not available at the moment... some people who pre-ordered last year are still waiting for their TF10 to arrive...

I agree that the EBs are very unbalanced. The bass is too much that it muddles up the sound. A good IEM should sound good with little or no eq-ing. But if you want the EB, I can help to order that too. Lemme know.
