I second Xiao_Catz's recommendation. If you can afford, go straight for UM2 or even E500.

No point getting EBs and upgrading from it subsequently.

The newer version of SF5 Pro actually sound much better than the older version, and the cables are also thicker and much more durable. And cherry red is a really nice color!

Hey chrono, the prices for the UEs are cheaper than that leh. If you go to the headfi forum and apply the appropriate coupons. Prices will be a bit lower then the one u quoted.

I agree that the EBs are very unbalanced. The bass is too much that it muddles up the sound.

A good IEM should sound good with little or no eq-ing.

But if you want the EB, I can help to order that too. Lemme know.
