Hey lim go to head-fi.com and look throught the forum on portable.

I have the k501s the mids are very good . The bass gets much better after you pass 100 hours of burnin

 

The soundstage is really great I love it I never knew cans could sound that wide.

 

They do need quite a bit of power though my soundcard can barely power them.

I seem to be liking rock and pop. Sometimes some techno beats ammuse me.

 

Alternative rock is my fave stuff I suppose. I do like the females vocal stuff of course those songs ablaze sent me were good on my 501s.

 

The rock stuff I listen to needs a bit more punch then the 501s can give.

 

Sometimes I play some classical but I dont like the slow ones. -

 

Occasionally rap gets me going - The eminem show I liked.

Yes the banner is lovely. but i think there is to many button hidden up there I can never find them.

He been pushing it on me too and now I feel the need for a CDP.

Ok my cans have now had bucket loads of burnin. I just let them play while I listen with speakers.

 

I put them on for a bit of a listen and I was surprised how much better they were from when I last used them about a week ago. They flow alot easier and the bass is richer and deeper. Mids are still wonderful. I had them on mid volume levels when I push my soundcard all the way its sounds sh*t and it starts to thin out even though its louder its kinda strange.
