  1. Well.. if it's only these 3 models you are looking at... then go for CK7. If not, top up another $10 to get Westone UM1.
  2. Okay... Jade is selling at $89, same as Tampines Century Square Best Denki. Available colours: White / Black / Cream / Light Blue / Lime Green
  3. I will check for you when I go down to tabao lunch or dinner....
  4. Are you talking about the retro looking one? http://www.hardwarezone.com.au/firstlooks/...p?cid=2&id=5644 I saw it in Tampines Century Square 4th floor, a shop called Jade gift....
  5. Huh? Will that sound better than his current stock ibud?
  6. Hi all, helping my fren to look for a 'in ear' earphone which is below $100. He is listening to his ipod mini with the stock earbud. Met him on the bus just now and he tried my ES5 and like it... but he wants a 'in ear' type. And anyone recommend some 'in ear' earphone abound his budget with the same/ close performance of ES5? Thank you.

    IC: selling UM1

Hmm... I thought UM1 is a good IEM... why are you selling it?
  8. Understand.... because of the isolation that IEM provides, one can listen to the music at volume less than 50%, but not so for some headphones, thus, one will need to turn the volume louder to compete with the noise in the environment.... that is something which I am afraid that will damage the ear...
  9. Hi all, Just wanna find out what is the max. hours that one should listen to music with their headphones/earphones so that it will not damage the ears? I know it depends on the volume one listen to... but let's say it's average volume..... I think 60%-65% from your source? So... anyone?
  10. Hmm... Sounds logical.... I shall hear from others too...
  11. Haha... I have already started to stretch it, it's slightly better now, will strength it more.... while stretching it, I'm burning it in at the same time... it sounds much better now. I am beginning to like it more. Don't think I will be selling it.... like the clarity and the bass, just nice for me... thanks
  12. Eh... can someone tell me if there's any difference and what are the difference? Thank you. Because I find that using WMP to convert CD to mp3 is much faster....
  13. Hi all, is there a difference when I use Windows Media Player to convert my CD to mp3 - 192kbps, compare to CDex converting it to 192kbps too....?
  14. Sigh... looks like I have to find ways to make it more comfy....
  15. sigh... but I find it big... plus the wire a bit long... do you think anyone will want to buy ES5 if I sell it?
  16. I was thinking.... should I use sponge to make it feel more comfy...
  17. Wah..!! A bit big for my liking ah... and I read some reviews that the sound is not so good leh...
  18. Man..... I like the sound from my ES5, but it seems to be pressing on my ears a bit hard... maybe because I am wearing a pair spec too... Anyone know of any headphone that can produce the same/ very close to ES5 performance yet more comfy than ES5?
  19. iPod shuffle? Isn't it only 512MB or 1GB right? Okay... beside iPod shuffle... any other good source? Budget - $200+-.
  20. Wah...! I can't believe my iPod mini lose out to my PPC... my goodness.... can you recommend me a good mp3 player? Hmm... or should I stick with my Sony D-NE730 PCDP.... I was reading about converting CD songs to some loseless format.... and mp3 is lossy format.... Normally, a mp3 player can only play mp3 format right?
  21. Well, I am new to this 'sound/music' thingy. What I can say is that I can hear more details from my PPC and the bass is better. My iPod mini bass sounds weak when the EQ is off, but when I turn on the EQ to boost the bass.... it sounds distorted.
  22. Hi all, I find it interesting that when I listen to my mp3, my Pocket PC sounds better than my ipod mini.... why is this so? No EQ is use for both. I am listening it with AT ES5.
