Yes, David really knows the right stuff to match Audeze. But I'm totally impressed with Mr TS Lim, Diva Goya latest headphone amp. It was too good to be true for me, totally musical. I've tested it with Cantonese opera, western classical & Japanese vocal. Just place an order, since last week, might take a month for delivery to me in Perth, as CNY is just round the corner. Anyway, good things are worth waiting for just like LCD3..

I started this thread last year on Jan 4. This year, I had another fantastic sales service from Mr David Tan for my LCD3! He met up with me 3 times, 1st time for a loan set to listen to it, 2nd time for delivery & finally 3rd time for my request to change to a travel case. Through our chatting, we realize we have another common interest....red wine... LCD3 is indeed a big improvement from my LCD2-rev1 and let's hope next year today, I don't have to upgrade LCD4... Nevertheless, Woo Audio is next on my list......sometime mid of this year

Nope, it all started when my interest on the Marantz KI pearl lite cd player strikes. The claim is that it is able to accept iPod via its usb input. I've managed to plug my ipod to it and it is able to tap the digital signal from ipod and then convert it with its built-in DAC (far better than the ones Apple uses). You can do a search on google to look for the 2 signals of the 30 pin docking plug. All you need is just 4 wires, i.e. 2 wire for 5V to charge your ipod and 2 wire for the digital output. Have fun!

Went to LHS this evening with an intention to buy the cable and DIY with MK plug and Shurter IEC. Discover that they have ready made ones, the cost is the same, no extra charges for labour, so bought one and was very impress with the improvement made on my Meier Concerto, comparing to a normal $3 wire.

I'm using the onboard DAC from my Marantz KI Pearl Lite cd player. This player has an USB input that accepts iPod too. So, I'm taping the digital signal from my iPod and then feed it to the Marantz onboard DAC. Output of the cd player is fed directly to Meier Concerto (set at high gain). I have no problem driving it, normal listening level of my Meier Concerto is set up 11 o'clock.
