  1. To me IEM below the $150 range would be DTX-50. For headphones, it will be ES-7. It sounds good, looks good, portable and closed.
  2. Just get a dtx-50, you won't regret it. The bass is very good i must say.
  3. Personally i don't like the K81DJs, firstly everytime i put it on, it just feels like something is clamping on my head. And it have bad details. Es-7 have a very fun sounding but the bass isn't that strong.
  4. Oh sheesh, after reading your review i feel like trying the im716... Anyone noes where to audition it?
  5. Is the Turtle Beach still available in Sim Lim or some other place?
  6. Well amping will definitely help. But mylar3s wid amp will make a better combo.
  7. Hey thx guys for the comments. I heard about the mylar3 so i think i am going to try that. Wanted to try the UE and the UM but they are a little pricy.
  8. Hey guys just want to check out whether the Sony's in-ear phones(from walkman handphones) can be compared with any other canal phones. It is obviously much better than any other typical earbuds since it isolate noise, gives clearer sound. The only thing i am not really satisfied is the bass. So i would also like to know if there are any earphones that gives a better bass and clarity.
  9. Seriously who can beat Ayumi Hamasaki the J-Pop Queen? It has been 7 years in the making and she still retain this title.
  10. Ok i own a W550i and tried the IPod b4. What i can say is that walkman handphones have the megabass EQ that makes everything sound great. The first time i heard that i was quite blown away. And btw WALKMAN and NORMAL Sony Ericson's phone is not the same since only walkman handphone have the megabass EQ. But somehow 1 of my friend had that function and he said by updating it or something. But after listening much the megabass thing is making music sound a bit hallow. Tested IPod and it sounded rather flat but i nvr test any EQ settings. But this days i tried the sandisk MP3 and i must say they are pretty good. The bass is there, everything is balanced and not so narrow sounding.
  11. Hmm... I tested the MS-1 today and it was really good for the price and the next thing is to go down to SE and test out the HD-485. And you had the headphone 1 want. I was wondering why get the MS-1 when u have such a good headphones?
  12. Lol. The K81DJ doesnt suit my taste unless you are really a basshead. The only thing tat is good about this headphone is the bass, other den that the SQ and stuff isn't going anywhere near the grados. Comfortability is another issue, i had to stretch my mouth every few minutes to make it feel better. But then that is my opinion. Some people rather go for this headphone than a MS-1. So my best option is that you go down for auditioning b4 you get 1. Try the MS-1, SR-125 or the HD-485. I think this are more popular cans.
