Ok so my b22 power supply went up in smoke for a moment But luckily I got it to work in a matter of minutes. No real damage, only one blackened resistor :x Hope you guys had a good time. Rock on. In addition to Yotiao's post I would like to add some guidelines to protect all our equipment. Please do not take offense as is not aimed at anyone but to ensure the safety and hygiene of the owner's equipment. For smokers please do not smoke during the meet. Try to bring a towel as it might get hot and sweaty. Make sure your hands are clean before touching any equipment. Please do not put any hair gel, clay, oil or hair styling products of any sort. These are just some of the guidelines i can think of. Once again please understand that these are to ensure the safety and hygiene of the owner's equipment. PS: Anyone seen handling the equipment roughly or damaging the equipment on purpose will be asked to leave. PPS: Owners have the right to ask you clean up before trying any equipment. may i ask how are you connecting to the DAC? ZVM doesnt have optical out nor usb IIRC. correct me if im wrong i dont have much experience on creative products. Edit: oh there is a usb port if you use the dock. then im not sure whats going on then. but if its a DAC then it shouldnt pick up on the hissing. whats the amp you are using after the DAC?
