Which is another reason why I'am in no hurry to get them...I've shifted my attention to the O2's and amps recently and have been eyeing the DHA-3000 amp by ATH recently...Managed to find a piece of each...Also, I found a L3000G for a pretty decent price...Looks like a busy christmas!!

hello fellow DIY friends, digi01 sent me 2 USB dac (simple prototype, and I have to pay), about the size of a tumbdrive. Seems like sound card.

When i plug into my Apple Mac, it doesn't seems working well, I suspect it's the driver problem. Anyone want to try it and help him ot evaluate?? please PM me..

That cost is for components alone. Throw in workmanship and it'll probably be 100 odd.

sound i am not sure, i only heard k240 only, sound is good for its price. the 600 ohm version is definitely very difficult to drive, you will need a good headphone amp.

hmm..why must you choose the 600ohm version?? are u in sound recording or audio industry??

anyway, most forumers who tried said there's quite an imporvement in term of details and transparency.

the R1 can be from 10k to 30k, or even any value, depends on attenuation u need.
