I read somewhere that after cutting techflex, you need to burn the cut end slightly to prevent fraying.
Thanks! Just tried it... it works!

Nicely done! 1 thing I couldn't get done is the techflex that's always fraying out on 1 end on me... Any tips?

Now I'm thinking of doing up a cmoy... the instructions are very clear... thanks once again...

Yup i didn't add the resistor there on my amp, i will update the page asap. In fact so far my led didn't burn up might be due to i am using 9v batt instead tangent is using 18v if i not wrong.
As for the led resistor i will update that on e blog. The comment regarding the jumper wires for real pic is abit hard for me my phone camera can't take very close shot it look blur, i will try to borrow a digit camera to actually take some real pic so that i can update it... thanks for e comment
Oh you mean the volume control pot i am using? For that i just buy those normal dual pot you can find at SLT.
Yup! The volume control pot... hmmm... is there a value for the pot, eg 10K, 100K etc? Also... what's dual pod?
Can share how you drilled the holes for the tin?
Thanks!

Nicely done indeed!
One question though... What's the component part of the pot that you're using?

I'm trying to decide if I should get portable amp powered by 9V batts or AA size batts... my main concern is that 9V batts are too ex...
For 9V batt portable amp users... what are you using for the 9V batts? Rechargables or alkalines?

Hi bro... won't be joining the MO as I've bought another amp... sorry bro...

I just did a check on amazon... to have it shipped to Singapore would be about $250.
For a difference of about $120... have to take the risk that if the phones break down, will have to go through the hassle of sending the phones to UE. Hmmmm...

So far I haven't heard of anyone having problems with the build of UE IEMs, the most common complaint I see so far is probably the fitting/sealing of the IEMs and that the cables are too stiff.
I'm thinking of going for the SF5pro too... what's the price like now?

Interested in the LDM+, but would like to know roughly when you're going China (early, mid or late Jan). Reason is because I'll be going China after CNY... but quite eager to get it sooner. Thanks!
