I'll strongly suggest you to try the Ibasso P2 too. It sounds too good to be at $200. Try it if don't like nothing to lose what. But dunno whether they still got the demo unit since all sold out liao.

yup i know that , but i got an offer for a visely and im wondering if i should wait to get a p2 or get the visely xD

hmm got 2 amp up for choice , one is the Visely HEA-1 and the other is the iBasso P2 , which of them sounds better? sound stage , bass and portability ...

The custom earmold (UM56) are definitely very worth it. Am a user myself and boy have I left those other tips aside a long time. IMO, amps though not able to help improve the highs of the UM2, it can give a very wide sound stage and a sense of airiness, also helps to improve the bass by a bit (controlling it), the amp I'm using it with is the hornet.

Ibasso T2 at $179 should fit into your budget range with its compact & long battery life. But I'd personally prefer the P2 for its robust iron-cast casing & better controlled lows & much more define vocals.

i finally got my um2 , alright erm any gd amps with a great soundstage increase + tighter bass? budget around 200

hmmm i just wanted to clean up the audio abit , will it clean up the muddy base of some earphones?

I agree that not everyone suits um-2, especially me. But most of friends are looking at the um-2 like the king of earphones & the coming westone 3 like "GOD".

Im now currently using the v moda vibes and im enjoying it but the sound isolation was bad so i am thinking of changing it. Currenty im thinking of the Etymotic ER.6i , wat ur guys think of it? And wats the price and where can i get it ?

The T2 is much better than the T1 in sound quality, at least to me. With these though there has been an unreasonably high incidence of mis-balanced volume controls; i.e., one side having slightly more volume than the other. At least that was with the first runs of both that I had. The T2 did not suffer from this as I could tell but apparently the T1 did. When I sold it, the buyer came back to me with this issue and I had to take it back. I ended up giving it to the guy who purchased my T2 when I sold it.
