  1. I'll strongly suggest you to try the Ibasso P2 too. It sounds too good to be at $200. Try it if don't like nothing to lose what. But dunno whether they still got the demo unit since all sold out liao.

dont forget the chioness of it xD ya now sold out and scared to make a wasteful trip trying to audi it , how does the soundstage fair?

  2. The custom earmold (UM56) are definitely very worth it. Am a user myself and boy have I left those other tips aside a long time. IMO, amps though not able to help improve the highs of the UM2, it can give a very wide sound stage and a sense of airiness, also helps to improve the bass by a bit (controlling it), the amp I'm using it with is the hornet.

custom totally out haha , not because of budget but because im still in the so called "growing stage" so kinda unsafe.

  3. I don't think it will be below $600. But the main thing is we won't even know when it be available. I had been calling SE & jaben till they're i bit pissed off by me.

SE say ... coming soon ....coming soon since april 2007.... i think must wait long long

o haha , well guesse maybe i will stick with either the ue super.fi 5 or the um2 , maybe can consider the super.fi 5 eb also , anyone know how is the bass like?

  4. I agree that not everyone suits um-2, especially me. But most of friends are looking at the um-2 like the king of earphones & the coming westone 3 like "GOD".

UM-2 not for me but westone 3 .... gotta try to know.

i was thinking of the westone 3 but not really sure bout the price , haha

  5. hmmm then i better give them a call XD anway i cant really go down and truely audition them as holidays are ending so have to trust the ears of the people XD

i also got 1 in mind which is the q-jays and i know that it sounds great in high and mids but not not very bassy , if i add a amp with it to make it more bassy will it spoil the iems?

  6. The T2 is much better than the T1 in sound quality, at least to me. With these though there has been an unreasonably high incidence of mis-balanced volume controls; i.e., one side having slightly more volume than the other. At least that was with the first runs of both that I had. The T2 did not suffer from this as I could tell but apparently the T1 did. When I sold it, the buyer came back to me with this issue and I had to take it back. I ended up giving it to the guy who purchased my T2 when I sold it.

    thx for the info ,

i was thinking of instead changing my iem to etymotic er.6i rather than getting the amp
