check with him, you won't know. actually he set up OL Aurora MK2 & Clearaudio Performance 2 side by side for easy a/b last week. I was invited but I didn't go. I don't have problem using differnt cartridge for different TT during audition. Just an idea of how the set up sound like is fine to me. important is whether you like the sound & apperance or not. moreover u might not get the same cartridge as the demo TT. just my 0.20 cents.

another copy? wow! shame on me being a Bowie fan listening to this right now, David Sylvian - Secrets Of The Beehive Evey David Sylvian releases is a materpiece of art. especially this, my Favorite Album of All Time hauntingly beautiful.

Clearaudio performance + Clearaudio Maestro may suite your need. they are like gentleman in suit. Origin Live more for rock and pop imo. they have punch. never heard Avid, can't commend. VPI Classic is another nice choice. a bit off budget here.

this is the album Kachui bought on behalf? ya, this is already a super "CD", can't imagine on record

After Porcupine Tree, follow by Opeth, now Sigur Rós Good taste u have. i didn't follow them closely after their third album. maybe i should pick up again. The cover goes well with "Fear of a Blank Planet" - Porcupine Tree perhaps you can try another group called - "Godspeed You Black Emperor!" a very short live band from Canada. Their records are cheap on ebay. Godspeed You! Black Emperor

rubber band ??.............. Nope, is the controversy Rega White Belt. From the musicdirect.com web site: "The White Belt is made from a new type of rubber; this ultra-pure rubber doesn't have any dyes in it, hence the white color. This new material is smoother and stronger than the standard drive belt, Rega claims the White Belt is the most accurate drive belt they have ever produced, one that guarantees precision and improved motor control." the belt however does making the sound more solid, images, vocalists and instruments more distinct. the improvement was easily noticeable but not "dramatic improvements". with this price. i'm happy on the "Upgrade"
