  1. just bought it 1 mth ago from stereo electronics and recently, the unit seems to be running out of battery and as such i got a new set of batteries with intention to change it. To my awe, when i opened it, i saw that the left most battery has leaked and the whole column to the internals has oxidised. i tried to change the battery but it seems that the circuit is not connecting. i did not expose the unit to water, nor dropped it nor opened it to change the battery.

seems like i have a dead unit =(

anyone knows if this is covered under warranty? hate to see my hard earned cash gone after just 1 mth.

  2. anyone tried this before?

    rom the manufacturer:

Some years ago we discovered that a strong signal from a signal generator sent through the signal path of an amplifier had a positive effect on the sound. A year later, having experimented with complex signals, we found an algorithm of signals that gave a stunning improvement in soundstage, transparency, details and dynamics for audio systems.

The reason behind this is that the small magnets in the signal-path become, with time, orientated in one direction. This produces a detrimental effect on the signal. The DeMagic signal actually relocates the magnets, and thereby breaks the magnetic field and it's negative effect on the sound.

In 1997 the University of Seoul, Korea, carried out scientific tests that definitely proved the theory behind the DeMagic signal, and today the DeMagic is a must for any serious audiophile and music lover.
