  1. You can test the earphones displayed at Toy Station at Plaza Singapura by lendmeurears.com. You will find models from Brainwavz, Dunu, Sunrise, Ecci and Vsonic at good prices there. I've got the Dunu Trident and the Sunrise Xcape Impressive Edition and they're both good. The Dunu earphones can be had at even lower prices from audioshopstore.com.
  2. Creative Aurvana Live. $99 from the Creative shop at Marina Square. Got it last week and loving it. The people over at head-fi love it too.
  3. The Yuin PK series are earbuds, aren't they? You could get them from the guy who posted this, here in Singapore. I got the Yuin G2A from him and they've got great clarity too. But they're clip-ons.
  4. How about the RE0? It's 89 USD including delivery for the Christmas sale. Clear, detailed sound. Check out the customer reviews by clicking the tab on the page linked.
  5. Did you get something? 2 months is a really short lifespan for earphones. I used to use my old Sennheiser CX95 at the gym on the treadmill and it held up. Lent it to a friend recently and he lost it. Have had issues with some earphones recently after treadmill sessions. Storing them in a plastic bag with a dehumidifying satchet seemed to help. Went down to Stereo yesterday myself and saw at a pair of TDK IEMs labelled 'best buy under $20'. Ended up getting the Sony MDR-AS50G after trying the latter out. There's a CNET review of it here. Have you tried to claim your warranty for those pairs of earphones?
  6. Nuforce NE-7M at $89 from Stereo (Plaza Singapura or Causeway Point) SoundMagic PL-50 from Treoo.com at $75 Just ordered the Head-Direct RE0 from head-direct.com That came up to $120+ Waiting for it to arrive.
  7. Yeah I hope they stick around long enough if the earphones die on us. I bought my pl50 partly as a panic response to the left side of my nuforce 7m cutting out... Hope I get a replacement when I go down to the distributor next week.
  8. Read very positive reviews about the Soundmagic pl-50 too and thought it'd be a hassle to find. But I discovered Treoo.com yesterday and am enjoying my new earphones now. COD, quick and easy. $75
