  1. Dear all,

One pair of BNIB (brandnew-in-box) pristine mint Sony MDR-EX 700SL Stereo Headphones for sale.

Bought for $5xx (GST incl), willing to let go at $428. My loss is your gain.

These are amazing in-ear phones. Dynamic ultra large drivers. You can boogie all night long.

  2. Dear friends,

My choice boils down to Sony MDR-NC500D or PFR-V1 cans. Which is the more exciting choice?

I noticed not too many folks here are big on noise cancelling cans. Is it because they sound too artificial? Mixed reviews on the PFR-V1.

I'll be using these cans mostly for gaming, home theatre and occasional dedicated listening.

Thanks for any input. Got to decide soon.

  3. It's made by Sony Music (Made in Japan) for professional usage. Production has stop for some time but still can find them in Japan and Ebay.

Thank you all for your feedback. Its frustrating because I did love using my CD3000 for listening to movies at night. Simply awesome. Really shocked when Sony staff told me they cannot source for headphone drivers anymore. Existing Sony headphones don't seem to be quite as good or quite as problematic :-)

I'll have to work something out with Sony.

    Any more recommendations?

    Cheers.

  4. Dear bros and sisters,

My Sony MDR CD3000 headphones conked out on me. Sent for repair. Sony told me they don't supply parts for this headphones anymore! They offer me a rebate on any pair of Sony headphones available in Sonystyle Singapore.

So please advise. I am open to any pair of headphones. Listen mostly to rock but enjoy all types of music. Also play games. Audiophile quality is preferred.

What Sony headphones would you all recommend? I was offered the MDR NC500D. I'm also curious about the PFR V1.

Any suggestions? Appreciate any feedback. I am not aware of advancements in headphone technology. I buy once every 6 years.

  5. Hi all

This is a rather old piece of equipment.

Anyone still has it, or not using it, I like to pay high price for it. Prefer to have it in working condition.

    Please kindly contact me. Cheers!

I've got one. Perfect working condition. How much would you like to pay for it?

    Cheers. Jeremy 97711188

  6. There's this one AT can which is pretty good, I was impressed so that I got one. Its the ATH ES7.

    IPB Image

Mine came with a mirror surface on the back of the drivers. They are closed and therefore provide good isolation. They can be folded flat and fit into a small provided pouch.

Looks great. Where can I buy it and how much does it cost?

  7. Guys I really appreciate all the replies so far. Sorry for the wrong terminology. I'm a music lover lah. I've been listening to my Grado 60s forever.

I actually don't mind looking like a geek on the bus with oversized DJ style headphones. I'm hesitant on using inearphones like Etymotic. Long-term I'm worried about the music source being so close to my eardrums.

So, I'd really like a pair of DJ style headphones to connect to my Ipod Shuffle. I listen to all kinds of music. Any recommendations? Once again, not too bulky please. Maybe a budget of up to $200? Thanks a million eh.

  8. do u have a wrist strap? i think that would help perhaps.. depending on what kind of exercises u are doing?

    thanks drumma.

I'm bringing it to the gym today. Got to check it out and see if it works...

Maybe just use an ugly thick elastic band for now biggrin.gif

  9. One day old Green IPod Mini.

Heck, its been a while since I bought anything really new out of the box. I usually like to buy second hand. Save some money lah

But really, this time cannot resist.

It is really an object of desire. I love the way it feels in my way when I hold it.

I can't recall the last time I felt so shiok after buying something party.gif

  11. Hi tzeminn,

Nice to know my review have attracted an Echolofter to this forum. welcome.gif

If U wish to audition it, pm me ........... I recall your residence are near my area.

    Mackie,

On you dude! Would love to listen to the Cayin when you hv free time. I am ok most weekday nights and weekend mornings. I stay around Kembangan, do you live nearby?

This forum is really friendly. Oso I believe it makes great sense for Singapore music lovers to listen to headphones (not too loud though) cos we all live in such small spaces, and blasting music out loud at 12 midnight is not so nice!

    Cheers... party.gif
