Hi, this old thread showed up on Google, so I thought I'd stop in and update it. Two pieces of news about the earphones in the thread: 1) The universal-fit Future Sonics Atrio line received a new driver in November. The new MG7 10mm driver gives better treble extention and better balance, while the bass is punchier. I heard them on a long-term loan from Future Sonics and they are really nice. 2) The custom-fit Future Sonics Ear Monitors were also upgraded! They now have the new MG6pro 13mm driver. These also have even better treble now. The great thing about these is that, unlike all other customs, you can upgrade your old set of custom FS Ear Monitors to the newest driver for a fraction of the price of a new custom. It's a great feature of Future Sonics Ear Monitors. I bought a pair. I love the balanced, natural sound.
