  1. portrait grip/battery holder for D70
  2. there's also a 180mm Tamron 1:1 macro i think the macro lens is more fun then a big tele-lens, and the result is great even when viewed from the D70's LCD screen. the 1:1 macro power of the lens can really fill the frame i'll upgrade to the 24-70mm Sigma if i can sell off the kit lens
  3. got to try out this lens today Tamron 90mm F/2.8 Di Macro 1:1 the Macro result was beautiful also takes very nice portraits, its a lot easier to do manual focus on this lens cause the focusing ring has a big range, allowing very fine details to be infocus, but this also means auto focus take a little longer. this will very likely be my next lens, another lens that i'm interested in is the Sigma 24-70mm F2.8 EX DG MACRO to replace the kit lens the Sigma @ $775 cost about $200 more then the Tamron 90mm Macro, price for the Tamron : about $550
  4. i used a toothpick or single core wire (2.5mm electrical wire - bare copper) and push whatever left over stumps out the other side for resistors i use the copper wires, let the stumps stick to the copper wire on the other side and cut off what remains, this will also remove the solder thats on the PCB and giv u a "new hole"
  5. tried this for fun the water does funny things to the camera's AF system, quite a few of the shots came out blury, i found it easier to shoot without looking into the viewfinder for this shot cause, u can't see when the droplet is rising out of the pool when using the viewfinder
  6. somebody post some of those breaking news last night's soccer results "big money...big money!!" anyone can guess that this was
  7. thanks i'll try it again, i'm on the 28mm Sigma
  8. new stock for Cmoy2 PCB has arrived together with opa2134 opamp & 1uF Wimas
  9. Try to find the pattern Curves, straight lines, any interesting pattern, and of course, keep it simple thanks "leaf master Pribadi" strikes again i like the greens very much i did take those macro shots in RAW format, not sure why the first one was a little out of focus...more difficult to do Macro with DSLR without the right lens? its my neighboors flower, they look a little like fake flowers its also a little "dusty" i couldn't get that red color to come out with the Nikkor 50mm lens, havn't figure out why yet...
  10. not strong wind, only a small breeze, but its a very tiny flower, i couldn't get the shot with the 50mm Nikkor. will try it again with a smaller amperture. also tried some "leave" shots but they did not turn out as good...must learn from "leave master Pribadi"
  11. tried some Macro shots today with the 28mm
  12. more portraits : MRT series "please stand..." the funny light/color in the last 2 pics...is that "ghosting" looks like i need a PL filter for the 50mm
  13. not fetish just that its the only thing that comes close to being interesting to shoot since i'm in SLS the whole day, we never get to see daylight, all i see is people...so i decided to start photographing people when i get off work, kind of de-stressing therophy for me
  14. my MRT portraits are mostly blind shots, so the people don't know that i'm taking their pic, only the sound of the shutter givs me away
  15. thats why we must turn him to the dark side blues
  16. go shoot some pics to post "do not fight the dark side Kenshinz...go buy a D70...become #5...its your destiny"
  17. still practicing my MRT shots, the same place as my first MRT shot but different person
  18. is the second shot a dead flower? its very interesting first shot reminds me of Akira Kurosawa for some reason...i think i saw something like that in one of his films
  19. bram, do u take potraits too? would like to see some of your people shots
  20. my C8080 has taken on Macro duties i still want to keep it around cause can't sell it at good price anymore, i rather use it as a "backup" cam
  21. thought i post some site to find info on digicams i actually learn to use the more advance settings of my C8080 from here, cause its easier then reading then the manual steve's digicam another good place to find info on digicams digital camera resource page digital camera reviews a place to post your shots for people around the world to comment trekEarth trekLens links for some interesting fonts for your "watermark" cool fonts godzilla fonts
  22. do any of u guys actually use a camera vest when shooting? i don't like to carry a bag around, so a vest may be a better solution. the Nikon vest may attrach too much "attention" should look for something without logos of the major camera brand
  23. some new additions for the D70 I-cabi 30 litre dry box Nikon shooting vest FOC from the shop the vest looks very cool, has lots of pockets both inside & outside to put stuff they also recomand me the next lens to make the D70 family more complete the new Tamron 200-500mm f/5-6.3 zoom lens with IF its about the size of a midsize tripod...N@Z is this gun big enough? price...enough for another D70 kit around $1600++
