  3. Hi guys,

i cant decide which one to get. Im still looking for a pair of headphones which does not need amplifications, sounds nice direct from a portable , does not leak sound. And most importantly , mus be good for vocals. I prefer warm sounding headphones as i used to own the grados and they sound too bright for my liking.

    Any recommendations, guys ?

  4. I personally feel that interconnect is a very important component in hifi. It does not change the nature of the sound, but it will make your system sounds to its maximum.

Im using the dnm reson terminated with bullet plugs now, previously using a diy pair. You will be amazed to hear the difference, it sounded very detailed suddenly and has more controlled highs. Uncontrolled highs will cause ur setup to be slightly bright at times.

  5. have you consider getting the mx500 for your portable needs ? Many people have compared the sony 888 vs mx 500. Majority claims that the 888 does not justify to its pricetag, and votes for the mx 500.

The mx 500 cost only $30 and it's definitely the best buy at this price.

  6. There has been discussions in the Hifi forums that preset remote controllers can be purchased in SimLim Tower, though i have not been to before, as im using for my headphone setup hence no remote is needed.

The price is around $10-$20, take this as a guide. I would recommend you guys to use this for headphone setup.
