  1. One brand new set for sale:

Need no further introduction to this good amp.

    Characteristic:

    - Input Impedance: 100KΩ

    - Pre amp output impedance: 50KΩ

    - THD: ≤0.01%

    - Frequency response: 20Hz-30KHz ± 1dB (10to30K)

    - Headphone Output: 500mW-240mW(32Ω-600Ω) (500-200mW)

    - S/N: 90dB (89dB)

    - Input: 1 set RCA

    - Output: 1 set RCA, 1xΦ6.5mm phone jack

    - Pre-amp Output Impedance: 50K

    Thanks for viewing.

  2. Brand NEW IMPROVED sets just arrived.

I guess they did some modification to the circuitry,

The new set has surprisingly low noise level, very clean sound.

2-in-1 Tube Pre-Amplifier as well as a Headphone Amplifier.

It is warm in mid range and detail vocal, well controlled good bass with full of energy, smooth high frequency response. Musically design unit.

It has wider frequency band, dynamic and low distortion, very low noise and high fidelity.

    Component use:

    - German WIMA red MKP cap

    - Metal film resistor

    - Silver plated Teflon jacket internal signal wire

    - High efficiency and very low magnetic leakage R-type transformer

    - 6N3, 6N11x2, 6Z4, 6N1 tubes

    Characteristic:

    - Input Impedance: 100KΩ

    - Pre amp output impedance: 50KΩ

    - THD: ≤0.01%

    - Frequency response: 20Hz-30KHz ± 1dB (10to30K)

    - Headphone Output: 500mW-240mW(32Ω-600Ω) (500-200mW)

    - S/N: 90dB (89dB)

    - Input: 1 set RCA

    - Output: 1 set RCA, 1xΦ6.5mm phone jack

    - Pre-amp Output Impedance: 50K

Thanks for viewing and warm response.

  3. Good morning all.

The 708B is the improved version of 708A.

    Specification as below:

    Input impedance: 100K ohm

Pre amp output impedance: 50K ohm

    Headphone output impedance: 32-600 ohm

    S/N ratio: 89dB

    Frequency response: 20-30K Hz

    Distortion: <=0.01%

    Headphone output power: 500mW-250mW

    Weight: 2.5Kg

    Component used:

    WIMA MKP Capacitor.

    Metal film transistor.

High efficiency low leakage R-type transformer.

Teflon silver placted internal signal cable.

Larger casing better heat dissipation then the 708A.

    Tube: 6N3 x 1, 6N11 x 2, 6Z4 x 1, 6N1 x 1

Tube rectified power supply, no negative feedback circuitry.

A HI-END pre and headphone amplifier at a much lower cost.

Value for money piece of HI-FI equipment.

    SOLD

  4. WOW! WOW! WOW! Take me some time to finish the 4 pages.

You guys not only can listen, can really write too...

It is my first meet up so I was more excited to see the people then the CANs or AMPs. wink.gif

I always wondering how would the HD650 sounds like, finially I got a chance to taste it.

The AKG501, HD600 plus some others... can't remember all.

    Of course I didn't miss the K1000

Thanks to Mackie and AA, right people right place.

    Cheers.

  5.

Yes, I plan to bring in more sets but when it all depends on my colleague’s traveling schedule.

    Hope you all can wait.

I am trying to explore the China manufacturer as I found they have good products at a very

interesting low price with reasonable good quality.

The 708A is using one 6N3 tube, one 6Z4 tube and two 6N11 tubes.

ALPS volume control, WIMA cap, Metal film resistor, R-type transform.

    Characteristic are:

    - THD <= 0.01%

    - Frequency response: 20 - 30KHz

    - Headphone output: 500mW - 240mW(32-600 Ohm)

    - S/N: 90dB

  6. I don't normally make a sound decision when I've not done the necessary comparison but in this case, I shall make an exception. tongue.gif The latter of these two machines targets users who seek portability and we all know it comes at a price for size (smaller the better) matters and thus more expensive in terms of production cost. MJ, review it yourself and let us know if there's credence in my opinion. I stand corrected if otherwise. yes.gif

    Hi Makie

I want to write, but no experience leh..

Moreover I don't have so many references.

But I am learning from you all.

I am slowly improving my setup.

Hope one day I can post some review here.

    Thanks Makie.
