  1. Have the above headphones for sale. Is practically brand new, not broken in yet. Originally bought for outdoor use, but realised it really isn't too suitable. Have a pretty good hifi at home, so they've only been used a couple of times. Comes with original box, warranty, etc. Hope to sell them for $150.
  2. Hey, Just saw these at millenia walk the other day. Think it's modelled as SBCHE590 in Singapore. You can see a picture of them at the singapore philips website. Are these any good? Think they come in 591 and 592, which I happened to chance across online. They didn't list the specs, but think it's just different colous, namely black or white.
  3. 2 month old ipod. 3G 20GB. 742 songs atm, and also the peak. =p
  4. Hi guys, I've come across some mods for those earpads i mentioned, but they involve some rolling up of socks.... Any of you know if those circumaural replacement earpads by sennheiser or similar will work on the grados too?
  5. Hey, just a question. Why are these good for the grados? Moderator Edit: Please PM the seller directly as the For Sale Classified thread is not for discussion.
  6. hmm...actually, did that.... but there's the ipod remote also. so if you can imagine.... it's hard to bundle them up without it looking weird... I suppose I COULD forgo the remote, but it would make it hard to turn off my ipod, since I have to fumble into my bag to do it.
  7. N@Z: You mean I can replace the earpads with those sennheiser ones you mentioned? Ahtiu: Bought from Music By Design, $170 bucks. Hey, those of you using this pair of headphones... how do you keep the loooooooooong wire out of the way? I mean, I'm already kind of short, so when walk around, the wires keep getting in the way of my legs..... add that to the length of the ipod remote... *shrugs* any tips on that?
  8. $220?!?! Are these better than the Grados SR80?
  9. Heee! I finally got myself a pair of Grados SR-80. Actually decided on the px200, but after I heard the Grados, I jus couldn't resist it. Oh well.
  10. Okay, I've narrowed down my choices to just three now. Thinking of the Senn PX200, Sony Eggos D66 or Audio-Tech EM7. Does Hung Brothers stock it? How much should I expect to pay for them?
  11. Hmm... I guess I prefer a wider frequency range as I listen to classical and symphonic stuff, where I believe the range is quite important. Correct me if I'm wrong please, I'm still learning about these stuff. I never knew getting earphones could be such a complicated and learned process! I respect you guy's knowledge in these things, guess it's one of the those understated things to know about.
  12. Problem is, I heard that the Sennheisers tend to have strong bass, and I don't really like anything that comes through too much...
  13. Well...I do intend to listen to music while I'm on the bus/MRT...so I guess that might mean the Grado should be out of the question right? Ermm...I definitely cannot afford the Etys as I'm a NSF. I gotta admit that I was actually seriously considering the sony 888, but then think that 1) earplugs are not so ermm...cool and 2) tempted by grado thanks to all the rave reviews. Anyone here actually tried the sony 888s before? Are they really good? How do the eggos compare to the 888s? The frequency range seems kind of small...
  14. Hmm.... Just checked out the PX200... isnt' the frequency response a little low? Can we find those eggos in singapore? Btw, are any of the earphones I mentioned earlier good at all?
  15. Hi, I'm thinking of replacing the earphones that come with the ipod, so here are a few choices that I'm considering. That sony 888 fontopia, grados 60, A-T Titatium sticks, or EM7. What do you guys think? I need something for all round music since I listen to about everything. These earphones seem to be the most mentioned around here, so I thought I'd just ask.
