ablaze 0 Report post Posted September 10, 2003 thought I'd branch off from the PPA-builder's threads to post some pics of a my completed PPA I tried to follow Tangent's instructions and schematics as close as possible, and with the help of headfi-ers like ppl, morsel, arzela, tangent, voodoochile, and local guys firefox, jtfoo (<--- especially jt! ) and jason to name a few, its more or less completed. At least I'm listening to it now and it sounds great! fancy specs: PPA v1.0A board 1% 1/4W hand-matched resistors 4x1000uF 35v Panasonic FC caps 8x100uF 35v Nichicon UPL caps 9xPhilips 1uF metallised polyest box caps 12xHA3-5002 buffers (4 per channel) OPA637B for L/R channels OPA627B for ground biased to Class A with JFET cascodes separate opamp rails Alps Blue pot CMC gold-plated RCA jacks Cliff-UK non-locking Ni-Ag 1/4" headphone jack (hate locking jacks ) FEP teflon-coated solid-core bare copper hookup wires 2% silver solder used Teletron 24v DC linear regulated power supply Hammond 1455N1602 enclosure (not here yet) specs sound good right? haha Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
