possible to upgrade itouch's memory space?

Hello guys, so i have an ipod touch 2g 16gb. i realised that my memory space was finishing soon, (5gb left, will be used up soon with my constant input of lossless songs)

 

So i saw sven's mod on the nano in which he could replace a dead 4gb memory with a memory card. Is that possible on an ipod touch 2g? if so, is anyone able to help me do it?

thats not a nano. its an ipod mini. minis uses a compact flash/ microdrive for its memory storage.

As said above tho - totally not worth it as you'll probably end up bricking the ipod.
