Full-size headphones portable ?

Hello forum !

 

akg k271/beyer dt770/Senn 555

 

i cant decide which one to get. heard many good reviews and feedback on these 3 headphones.

firstly, id prefer a closed and more portability of these three.

hope someone can provide me which or what would be a better choice.

i think none of these are very portable. however, the dt770 have some of the most bass i've ever heard. if that's what you're into, go for the dt770.

i was thinking of the akg or senn's because i heard dt770 are really bassy.

 

maybe i should try it in person to see if favors my taste.

is it true that the akg 271 needs an amp to boost the bass up a bit more ?

Agree, I dont think the full size headphones are portable enough for mobile use. But this is kind of subjective. I used ATH ESW9 before, and still think it is not good enough for mobile use. So I am trying to get some plug in earphones for mobile use.
