This is real budget equipment designed for the serious music lover especially for the young generation. However, the performance is so good that even experienced audiophiles with much higher value equipments will be impressed. We have to share with you that the first two sets sold to two customers with the main set up costs more than S$50k. They bought it as a 2nd system of cause.

 

In fact, the reviewer from the Audioart magazine (Taiwan) wanted to give 3 best recommendations for the well-performed DAC, Integrated amp and headphone amp for a single review. If you familiar with the 'scoring system' from this magazine, you will know how well the results. Lastly, the reviewer also can not resist but to buy a U1 for his use.

 

We are currently using an Oppo 981 as a transport with the U1 to drive a pair of ALR Jordan Entry Si speaker. I have to say that the system sounds musically smooth with the nice textures and dynamics. I guess, you can only believe by listening yourself. We also set up the computer-based source using the iTune via the USB.
