ablaze 0 Report post Posted August 29, 2003 went downstairs this afternoon to open the mailbox. coincidentally, at that same moment I saw two delivery vans. one UPS and one TNT express. and both came for me. so I got my OPA627s, AD8610s, and the TLE rail-splitters. and my buffers from farnell and a couple of caps. now just waiting for my PPA board to start on a lil soldering

ablaze 0 Report post Posted August 30, 2003 I doubt that happening, cos I estimate months before I complete it, if I complete it
jasonhanjk 0 Report post Posted August 30, 2003 Hhmmm... You still lack of resistors before you can get it working with minimum parts ...

jasonhanjk 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2003 Err. I meant have you bought your resistors? Hey. Cool picture. Ahh... Seems like using stargate cap and wima box poly cap. The IC's seems not to be AD8610. Maybe need a closer look...

ablaze 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2003 are you guys gonna use the AD8610 or the OPA627? I'm having a hard time deciding. I like details, but I'm afraid the AD8610 will sound too aggressive with my CD3Ks
N@Z 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2003 Those 8 big red inline thingies, are they the Power supply or resevoir capacitors?
jtfoo 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2003 (edited) are you guys gonna use the AD8610 or the OPA627? I'm having a hard time deciding. I like details, but I'm afraid the AD8610 will sound too aggressive with my CD3Ks That why I'm converting the AD8610 to DIL via browndog. So I can use them with DIL socket and swapped to OPA637 anytime.. Edited August 31, 2003 by jtfoo
ablaze 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2003 are the adapters available locally jt?
jasonhanjk 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2003 Those 8 big red inline thingies, are they the Power supply or resevoir capacitors? Resevoir caps. Suspect to be stargate from Elna. The ground signal should use AD8610 as they are unity stable as compare to the OPA627.
jtfoo 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2003 are the adapters available locally jt? I know Farnell has it, but very expensive at $25.55. http://international2.farnell.com/Search/l...978&SKUID=32917
jasonhanjk 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2003 You mean this. Tangent's site selling at US$4.00.
Firefox 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2003 Resevoir caps. Suspect to be stargate from Elna. The ground signal should use AD8610 as they are unity stable as compare to the OPA627. They could also be Cerafines. OPA627's are compensated. That's to say that they're unity-gain stable.
