cirdec 0 Report post Posted February 11, 2011 TS may have heard lotsa negative stuff already. Let me motivate you with something good. I've been a LW3 for more than a year, I must say that it sounds so much better after extensive burn in. (it could be my ears tt have grown acustomed to it). But I've heard some demo unit of UM, and JH, till now I'm still not convinced to fork out $$$ for another custom. The LW3 response pretty well to amping. But I'd prefer to pair it with a warm (SS) amp like the Pico, due to its neutral sound signature. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
dennis28288 0 Report post Posted February 11, 2011 Nope, its not ur ears getting accustomed, Livewires indeed take ages to burn in. I personally felt they were worse than my pk3s initially. But now i barely want to take them off once they are on. They have a very nice mid range IMO, although mine are only LW2. About price, i must say livewires are just about the cheapest customs u can get, and definitely value for money.
