Gnillin 0 Report post Posted November 29, 2011 Hi all, I've been searching and now have arrived at choosing between the m50 and the 750dj. Anyone can give some feedback on the two? Maybe cast a vote? I'd thought maybe open ones cos I'd like to be able to have a chance at catching sounds from the baby monitor, strange as that may seem... Thanks! G.

Shall I add in the Sony MDR-7506 to your list? One the the most pleasant and easy to listen to headphones among the budget series.

Although most monitoring headphones are designed closed-back however I do encounter looking for open-back monitoring headphones due to the nature of work or other reasons. Based on the choices you have suggested, pricing wise, the closest semi open monitoring headphone I would suggest would be the AKG K240 studio Aron @ Stereo
